I went to a foreign country and got so bored i bought an xbox and a copy of fable and spent the next month playing it.

Earliest... Pokemon. That was a great game, still is. But now there's too many to fuck things up.

KOTOR when I first got it. Guitar Hero II when it first came out, it's about all I played for a long time. Metal Gear Solid 3 and Resident Evil 4, which I beat far too many times. Def Jam Fight For NY (which I still uphold as the best brawler/wrestling game of all time). God of War, which I beat in under a week. I really need to get two... God. (of War).

Right now, and for the past few months, its been Call of Duty 4 (mostly because I'm in a clan with my friends).

Lost Planet took over my life for six months. I just could not stop playing online. I lost sleep, money from work, and my college grades suffered. But, would I do it again? Probably. I am still waiting for another game to come along like that. Call of duty 4 was close.

no seriously though i think one game that took over for a good amount of time was Wizardy for the NES

- Guild Wars ate around 97 days of my life.
- CoD1 & 2 filled my apartment with the sounds of gunfire for countless hours.

I'm surprised to see that I would be the first person to post any game from the Monster Hunter series. Between the one on PS2 and two games on PSP, I've spent over 3000 hours on these games, and just ordered the new game from Japan last week. Thank god for no region encoding for games on the PSP.

Guitar Hero practically owns my soul. I play it nearly every day, when I'm not on the computer or out buying things. (Like Guitar Hero.)
I recently bought GH II. That's also taken over my life.

hm...i used to play runscape,but i wasen't addicted to it like most of my friends were...oh,saints row.i kept re-renting it all summer until i finally bought it.it's a fun game,through and through,and the dialouge never gets old...but anyway,GTA 3/4,pokemon,fable,the jak and daxter series,some tony hawk games that had a plot(THUG 1&2,american wasteland...)and assassin's creed.

that was easily the best game i have ever played and i have beat it (i mean every quest, i have the guide so i know) twice and combining my 3 characters i have a somewhere around 600 hours (my 360 is bricked right now (again) so i cant be sure but i think thats about right) so that defiantly took over my life for a good long crap load of time
