Games that Torment you

We all have that 1 special game,that game we never actually beat and probably never will. For me it's Summoner 2. I don't remember much about this game besides the pure un-chained rage it made me release in the yelling and cursing that was so bad it got me grounded for a week. I've conquered every Ninja Gaiden game and IWBTG but this game was so bad i hid it some where in my house. I don't remember where I hid it and i don't wanna know because if i knew i'd try to beat it again and it's not worth it.
So whats that 1 game that torments you the most?

Digimon World... I loved it but I was terrible and could never get too far without complete blind luck.

Persona 3 Fes. The Reaper still scares the hell out of me. and it always seems to know when i'm at my weakest.

I came to this thread hoping for a discussion somehow relevant to Planescape: Torment.

I am disappoint(ed).

OT: Digital Devil Saga. That one boss. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ThatOneBoss] Over and over again. I've beaten other MegaTen games, but this just keeps bringin' me down.

The games which I get half way through, put down, then never bother to pick up again. Either because it got boring or another better game came out. I have done this loads...

WoW. for the brief time i played it, it litterally was SO boring, it felt like torture. >_> i actually ended up playing it because i lost a bet, and was stuck keeping my end of the bargain :/

Golden Sun: TLA. I've never beaten it, because I can't figure out where to go.

Though I think navigating the Sea of Time may be a good place to start...

Then prey you never experience the horror that was Super C (NES) and Contra: Hard Corps (SEGAGEN). Contra 3 was childs play compared to those games. Managed to beat Contra 3 without too much trouble.

I really can't think of a game that I cannot beat. I am far too persistent to stop unless I just dislike the game or grown tired of it. Not challenge will keep me from winning!!

But I beat Contra Hardcorps, but it was in fact when I as already grown up... I don't think it counts.

I'm proud to say actually that I did finally beat the game that tormented me.

I've gone on at length about how much I hated Mass Effect's gameplay, but felt drawn to the story and characters. Seeing the awesomeness of ME2 finally gave me the motivation to push through it though, as swiftly as possible.

It was worth it in the long run, to have the gameplay benefits in ME2, and also just so I knew what the hell was going on in it, but God knows I won't touch it ever again- I'll just leap in at part 2.

I'd probably feel tormented by GTA: Vice City too, if it weren't for the fact that I watched my brother complete it.

Alex the Kidd, the one built in to the master system, that game was HARD.

Metro 2033, by all that is holy that game hates me. I try to be stealthy and someone finds me immediately, I just suck at that game.
