Games That Were Wrongly Ignored.

2)Mashed (fully loaded)(ps2):awesome combat racing game where you can really piss your freinds off by by blowing up their cars with the over powered shotgun weapon.

I remember OPS2 (UK) mag making a huge fuss about that when it came out, but I don't know anyone who got it.

That game was gold. It was actually really fun to play with as many friends as possible. You needed all the maps though.

Jade Cocoon, I love that game, but no one knows what I'm talking about whenever I mention it to anyone.

SoR is a fantastic Gladiator Sim, (and we all know how badly they can go wrong), that pretty much steals the story from Gladiator and transposes it to the game. It can be unfaily hard, but it is a CAPCOM so no suprises there and the stealth sections, while not entirely broken are no way a match for the amazing blood drenched combat.
There were a few ads for it but not much and maybe Capcom thought it would sell on the reputation alone. It some very good reviews but for some reason people just did not go for it.

Is Shawdow of Rome the one with the character that looks kind of like Owen Wilson, where someone killed the Caesar of something? Because if it is, then I played part of it and it was awesome. I never knew that is was ignored, that sucks.

I'm going to say The Movies, not many people bought that game. I love it, I really wish that people would have bought it so that there may have been a sequel.

Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask is one of the most ignored zelda games and yet was one of the best for not featuring zelda, ganon, the master sword or even Hyrule.

I think Rez was also a overlooked game but I could be wrong. It was a very trippy sorta rail shooter that took place inside a computer system.

hmm parasite eve 2 perhaps ? never played no1 (crappy europe releases ) and never heard anything about the game really I think I just saw it second hand and grabbed it was a pretty damn good game defiantly comparable to the resi games at the time
and illusion of gaia was fantastic never realised it was overlooked must have been 8 when I got that.

Skullmonkeys for the PS1.

fantastic platformer sequel to the PC adventure game The NeverhoOd.
all the design was done with claymation, the soundtrack consisted of funky little jazz-rock jams and the humour mostly revolved around slapstick, but still brilliance.

I always felt that the Wild Arms series was overlooked, because none of them really received much mainstream attention but they are really good Wild West RPG's

Crackdown in my opinion, had more fun playing that game then i have playing most games. Yes it did sell alot of copies but thats got to be just because of the halo 3 beta...
