My ex used to play that. I never played it myself. I understand that the whole point is you interact with the character and you can make friends with them or be bitchy towards them. Not much volleyball goes down. Point is they got laid plenty so your idea fails. Maybe if you're a heterosexual male then maybe not so much.

On topic, surely you can play whatever you want but don't gush about it. Playing video games is fine and dandy but not when you talk about how you play video games endlessly. That's why I try to separate my gaming friends from people I date. You can see their eyes glaze over if they're not interested in it. But then I guess that's true of anything. They probably wouldn't like it if I went on about Absolutely Fabulous. It really is fabulous though.
