Alright, adding neutral splicers and reducing the number of them (specially in Hephaestus Core) would've made the game more immersive. You have a great point.
I agree with what the other guy said more or less. I still would have liked to talk to some of the splicers though, maybe team up with them?

Sega Bass Fishing, oh the humanity!
Take away the killing and replace with tickling, then catch and release.

Yeah, Dragon Age a story that centers around a bloody war would have been a hell of a lot better without a lot of combat. Seeing as how the combat system was a selling point and yes, once again, the story centers around a war between literal good and evil.
I don't have any problems with the fighting done at the end in Denerim (except for the Obvious "THIS is the massive army I stitched together? It's just my teammates and 5 other guys!"). My problem is the egregious amount of pointless fighting with Tevinter guards in the Alienage. or the 9001 Darkspawn I killed in the Deep roads (shouldn't that have ended the Blight in and of itself?)

Why do I even HAVE to fight in the War? Why can't I direct the forces from Afar(using the conversation options). Every Army needs a General. That's what I'm supposed to be anyway! Last time I checked General's don't leave their army kicking in the dust while they go off to single-handedly purge the world of bad guys.

Believe it or not, Osama Bin Laden wasn't captured by Barack Obama charging into the former's fortified hideout with two chainguns strapped to either arm..... sorry, I just wanted to picture that......wow.

Honestly, I'm gonna say Mass Effect. I like the combat and all, but the characters, story, cutscenes, choices and conversation wheel is what hooked me most.
If the game was basically a 40 hour cutscene with the dialogue wheel still intact, I'd be all for it.
