I'm going to say Tachyon: The Fringe, possibly the only game Novalogic never made any sequels to. Also known for being one of the more popular Novalogic games. Yeah, I don't know what they were thinking either.

I'm sure someone has already mentioned Mirror's Edge but I'll throw that in anyway.
And I would LOVE to see a
fourth F.E.A.R.,
third Condemned,
and fourth Metroid Prime.

Legend of Dragoon?

Okay, maybe not a sequel per say. But a remake please!
I agree with that. That game was amazing. Even a reboot would be fantastic.

Though my biggest votes would be Phantom Dust, Gladius, or even a proper non hand held Custom Robo. Seriously. Any of these three would get my money.

Edit: Scrolling through, I saw someone say Advent Rising! yes yes yes, and more yes!

I'm going to say Drakan: The Ancients' Gates. Kinda figures, considering 2 of my first 3 posts on these forums were about it. :p It makes me gush every time I see a mention of it or see people talk about dragon riding games. A shame it's so obscure.

I didn't even know anyone else knew about that game, but I kinda agree. I like a good beat em up but don't have a PS3 so Yakuza can't scratch that itch.

Well, continuing on, I'd say Panzer Front. It's an old WW II tank game, think sort of like WoT but single player campaigns. It could definitely be fun with everything looking pretty and high def-ey, with better damage models. Make it more of a simulation than WoT and you'd have my money pretty quick.

Legend of Dragoon
Team Buddies
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Hotline Miami
XIII (the point and click one doesn't count)
Lone Survivor (a sequel in spirit, not literal)
Fatal Frame
Shenmue

Some of these have been waiting years for their candle to be re-lit.

I echo calls for a sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. There are very few RPGs out there with its unique sense of style and humour.

Also, Homeworld 2. There have been a few space-based RTSs since, but it's still a woefully under-explored sub-genre, and none of the later attempts have measured up in my opinion.

Well since no one has posted this yet, I will.

We need a sequel for Sonic 4: Episode 2 in order to complete the Sonic 4 Episodic trilogy.

"What will Episode 3 consist of?" you might be asking.

Well, it's pretty apparent that we are going to have Knuckles as a playable character as it will follow the Classic/Sonic 4 formula of adding a new playable character for each new installment of a series of games. This game will probably draw inspiration from Sonic 3 & Knuckles where you could choose four different character setups: Sonic, Sonic & Tails, Tails, and Knuckles. What would be different is that there will be different paths/campaigns depending on the character you choose, taking alternate paths in the same levels and fighting slightly different bosses. The special stages could also be the same format as the special stages in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, which I believe are the best and most challenging in the series.

So yeah, let's make this happen Sonic Team.

And before I get a swarm of responds, I am aware that they are not working/making Episode 3, and probably will not revisit that possibility in the foreseeable future.

What I would do for a Republic Commando 2, or a Battlefront 3 right now...

And I'd like to see Dawn of War 3 (at least in the style of the first game), but im not really sure who has the Warhammer: 40,000 licence right now, so who knows if that one is going to happen.

EDIT: Turns out Slitherine does, but its not Dawn of War 3 so its still up in the air.

Brutal Legends, Advent Rising, and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath

Brutal Legends because it has an awesome setting. I'm a huge metalhead so that may be biased somewhat. I loved the strategy concept though it was flawed.

Advent Rising because that was awesome. The whole alien space war thing is so awesome. Plus they set themselves up for a sequel but never got one.

Oddworld because that game is awesome. That is all.

Mass Effect 1 - since the two games that came after wasn't really sequels, more like fan fiction made real.

Jade Empire. Its the only Bioware game out of the KOTOR/Mass Effect/Dragon Age era of games that didnt get a sequel and was by far the most unique as far as combat goes.

I'd like to see a sequel for the new Tomb Raider. The gameplay was fun, the aesthetic was brilliant, the music worked with the game really well and [sub][sub][sub]Lara's freakin' hot. Dem eyes.[/sub][/sub][/sub]

Also, the ending was pretty fantastic. There weren't any loose ends in the game's story but it was open enough for a sequel to fit in.

L.A. Noire. Even though it was deeply flawed and far too linear it was a genuinely intriguing and would have served as a great basis for something deeper.

I've said it before, and it seems I'm fated to say it until the end. Republic Commando 2 MUST happen. Not only is it one of the all time greatest Star Wars games, it is probably the absolute best squad based shooter I've ever played. I've never seen anything else combine simple but enjoyable squad control with that much... heart[/i.]. And ending games with no planned sequel on a cliffhanger is near the top of my 'gaming deadly sins' list. Damn you, Lucasarts, what happened to Seeeeevvvv!?

I wouldn't mind a KotOR III, so long as the stain on the fabric of reality that is Drew Karpyshyn's 'Revan' is Stalin-ed out of history, and on the condition that said writer is not allowed within the hallowed halls of its development studio.

And as for all the people that said suggested Conker's Bad Fur Day get a sequel, to you I can only respond with this:

If only someone could restore the shade of Rare to a functioning body...
