Final Fantasy XIII. I was more excited for that game than any other one in my life, and I was horribly disappointed. I didn't even mind the linearity; the story in the first half was just so poorly told that I couldn't bring myself to play the rest of it (even though I hear it's better).
In Knights of the Old Republic (a game which I have yet to hear anything bad about), I still haven't gotten past Taris (the first planet in a series of many, I assume) because I just can't get into it. There's not enough variety in the combat, and for some reason I'm having trouble immersing myself in it, really. This might just be a consequence of it being based on a licensed property, though.
...Should I keep playing through KotOR even if I'm not liking it right now?
