Metal Gear Solid 4. Haven't gotten a PS3 and don't really plan on it, even for the Blu-Ray. I did really like 3, and it keeps getting rave reviews and basically swept the Gamespot Awards, so it's a little annoying.

Cardfighter Clash for NeoGeo Pocket.
Not trying to be a dick, but it really is an awesome game. It's not that hard to get to run on a PC though, if you know what I mean.

I've always wanted to play Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and any of the Darkstalkers games. I never got to play them because I never owned a PS2 or a Dreamcast, and a lot of fighting games don't even make it to Europe. There's been some talk about Marvel vs. Capcom 2 coming out for XBL and PSN though, excited about that.
That would suck for me cause I have a couple brand new ones that I've been trying to wait and sell on ebay then the price would most likely drop.

I have a pretty large list of titles, mainly for the PC, (my PC sucks as a gaming rig and I don't have enough money to pimp it out) that I never got to try but really want to.

Runefactory 2!!! (Although this is one that doesn't really count because I am planning to get it soon...)

Possibly any of the Fatal Frame games or the Silent Hill games. Mostly because they seem to have some really interesting stories in them but their fear factor always makes me say way from them...

Plus, the one Silent Hill game I would like to replay, the first one, probably won't work on our PS2 because it currently doesn't like CDs...

//Edit//
Actually, I would also include any of the new console games like Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, Mass Effect and others as being games I would like to play but I don't have the money for all of those consoles (nor the time for that matter).

Beyond good and Evil, Eternal Darkness, and all the mother games, the stuff I missed because I was not yet a gamer. Oh and I've always been inexplicably drawn to FF5

Morrowind, I almost bought it today but the extremely slow service at gamestop kept me from doing so.
Supreme Commander, same as above.

I had this game on my computer a long time ago called Sanitarium - adventure game, can't find it anywhere - and I just want to play it so badly. Same with Grim Fandango, I can't find the damn thing anywhere but online and even then it's not new so I'm not sure if it'll be reliable.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sanitarium-Game/dp/B00001X5CG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1230570035&sr=1-1

Make sure you buy the 1998 updated version that makes it compatible with XP.

Yes that is indeed one hell of a game. So very, very underrated.

As for Grim Fandango, it's temperamental on XP. It does usually work though.

For me, it's all the shmups for the Dreamcast I didn't get to play. Especially Giga Wing 2. i loved the first one.

Then there's Virtual On for the DC. I've got a new and sealed copy but I don't have no Dreamcast now.

Most Japanese RPGs I think about. I'll never play them because I'm fed up of levelling characters again and again for each one.
What about Vista? Will it work on that if it works on XP?

Abe's Exodus, I got to play Odyssey, Munch and Stranger but never the second Abe title. Shame the company went bust
They didn't go bust, they just stopped making games because of the whole "new IPs are too risky" thing that happens in gaming.

They're making movies now, with Citizen Siege coming out next year (don't know exactly when but I do know it's not set on Oddworld).

You can get Exodus on Steam now, but play the demo first to see if the new control scheme suits you. The game looks and runs a lot smoother but I can't get used to the controls. Besides I still have the PSOne game and I've gotta say that it's my favourite game ever.

How was Munch? Should I bother getting it? I still have my Xbox and I've seen it in the shops but I've heard it's not very good...

It doesn't really bother me, but I had a chance to play Ico once and I passed it up. Now that game is impossible to find.

Also, after hearing Yahtzee talk about them, any of the Silent Hill games besides 5.

Fable 2. I played Fable: the lost chapters, and it was quite fun.
Same here except for playing the original. For some reason my mum did and I won't really bother to ask but the other game I can't stop thinking about is Fallout 1. I've gotten the third one and really like it compared to the other but I can remember that I was trying to kill The Blades gang member only to get stopped by the man wielding a hammer...Well that and I liked that it actually let you kill the children who only stopped running when you started firing at them.

Also I can see some similarities between my Vault Boy and your Vault Boy...Care to explain?

Wait, what?
Apparently Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, Left 4 Dead, Castle Crashers, Mass Effect, Braid, Portal and a few other things are all apparently sequels. Also I'm pretty sure all of those mentioned games earned a lot of praise especially Mirrors Edge for being something new at least.
So I don't think that developers still fear new IPs, if anything they enjoy it.

Dawn of War: Soulstorm. I want so much but I can't find it for less than $30 (I'm not spending $30 for two extra races.)
Man, steam is selling it pretty cheap now probably, all the dawn of war games including soulstorm is $30 on steam.

Gears of War 1 and 2. I don't own a 360 and probably never will, but I hope that these come to the PS3.

I'm not saying they fear them - they're financially very risky. Gamers are fanboys! They stick with what they know and they're not willing to spend a lot of money on things they don't trust. And Oddworld didn't want to keep any of the formulas they'd devised in previous outings. I mean take Stranger's Wrath. Oddworld were SUPPOSED to be busy finishing the quintology but instead they decided to do a completely different story with barely any characters or locations from the old games. That doesn't make buisness sense but it makes creative sense.

Of course companies love making new IPs, but the market doesn't take to them all the time. They carry with them a lot of risk. And games are expensive to make.

There were some good new IPs this year but most were either from big companies who can afford to take a risk or totally eliminate the threat of one (EA) or they were from Indie Developers who can't do anything else but make a new IP.

There's an article I read somewhere with Lorne Lanning explaining his stance on it. Can't find it just now though. As in Can't Be Arsed.

Also, was Munch's Oddysee any good?!
