How about Conker's Bad Fur Day or Perfect Dark.
I'm all for a conker sequel, as long as it features the "great mighty poo song".

ok here's one for you guys.
How about a remake of the bladerunner game?
Today's game technology allows developers to create a world only seen before in pre-rendered graphics. And now they can finally have good looking ingame characters because the whole voxel thing ruined te replayability for me.
I loved that game.
It would also be fun to see a remake of Lost vikings 2 in 2.5D

and as for killer instict either release the original arcade games because they have a unique look to them that none of the console releases had or make number 3 already.

but bladerunner deserves a remake because it's an incredible deep game with plenty of twists and turns.

My answer is the same every time I hear this question, and that answer is American McGee's Alice.
Sooo signed. That game has one of the most unique atmospheres I've experienced.

Thief, M.U.L.E., Sacrifice, and Hunt the Wumpus (admit it: it could be awesome). And definitely Dungeon Keeper 2.

The original Metal Gear games. They're both crazy fun and have pretty decent story lines (but this may have been only for their time I'm not sure) but updating them would make them easier to play and might tie the story together more. Right now they don't feel as much like a cohesive whole as they could. On reflection though, to call bringing a NEW game into the current generation or even the last generation an update is an understatement at best.

It's not a graphics update, but I think TLoZ: Wind Waker needs some more content. I loved that game but it was too short. To start it needs a couple more dungeons (a water dungeon is needed), less maguffin collecting and maybe even more of the underwater Hyrule to explore. I thought of this because it was impossible to make a proper sequel... They could make a prequel... That or a cell-shaded OoT remake...

Why are we discussing this anyway? The game developers will never make our awesome ideas come into reality... Damn Nintendo.

I want a 3D Earthbound, that counts as a graphics update right?

Spyro the Dragon.
Spyro's been reused several times, although for most sane people it died when Insomniac sold its rights to Travellers Tales (or whoever, I honestly can't remember). I wouldn't mind seeing another decent one, preferrably in the hands of Insomniac for one final outing.

World of Warcraft needs some serious reimagining concerning it's player models...
I mean we're allowed beautifully mapped worlds and brilliantly textured armours, but our characters have to remain as clunky outdated pieces of crap?
I'm sorry that just doesn't hold water here...
if Blood Elves can look like HUMANS then why can't the HUMANS looks like HUMANS?!

Grah!

Rare already did Cokner, censored from its original version though it was. And yes, an update to a game usually means bringing the graphics up to speed with current technology.

Personally I'd like to see a current gen re-make of FF8 & 9. Seems a bit fanboyish I know, but those were two game that I grew up with and loved, so a chance to play them again with better graphics would make my day
I'd settle for just FF8!
Wait a minute did you just say FF8, what seriously... That game's garbage.

Also I don't think that any game should be remade. The developers could instead do something useful, like make a fun and original title.

My vote is for Rebel Moon Rising, a 1996 FPS for the PC. The AI is spectacularly dull, and the graphics could use some work- they're just .tga images stuck onto a grid. It's a fair go at being 3-D, but it's just a bunch of 2-D images rotated slightly, which turn as you move around.

I'd love to see Conker Re-Reloaded with even better graphics and all of the ridiculous censorship removed.

An XBL remake of the original Perfect Dark with updated graphics would also be great, and realistically both are doable; Conker and Joanna Dark both belong to Rareware.

I'd like to see a port of Shining Force 3 (Include all scenarios). With updated graphics and unique content, I'd love to see a REAL Shining Force game again. *sigh* Fond memories of my days on the genesis are crushed remembering I can never really finish the series that hooked me indefinitely on games.

Battle Tanx from the N64. I long for the day when I can once again chase my friends around in a tank with a nuke. Perhaps an updated version could actually have a story worth following.

GENERAL CHAOS
originally on the Sega Genesis

Please tell me someone played/loved this game as much as i did.
The single player was complete shite (it had rts-style troop commands for a squad of 5 cartoony-characters that died in hilarious ways), mostly because the d-pad didn't work well for moving the cursor around, but the coop was awesome. Each player controlled 2 guys (you only issued commands such as wait, follow, fire, and switch character) and you tried to take down the AI opponent which got progressively difficult with each map.

This would be awesome on Live with online-play, maybe an updated overworld where each territory capture gave you a bonus. Noone who has every played this game with a buddy didn't love it. I declare this to be fact.
