What about a new Vampire:The Masquerade? Bloodlines was amazing.
Well, if I want a game that has a chance, gotta be KOTOR 3 or a new Sonic game ( I refuse to accept the existence of all games after SA2)

And I want a Jedi Knight 4
Oh fuck yes, that'd be beyond awesome, one of the best franchises ever :D
JK2/JK:JA were the closest gaming's got to emulating a Jedi/Sith. I'm really surprised they're not trying to further that considering how much more we could do with today's technology (no, not talking about motion gaming).

OT: A sequel to Alpha Protocol. I still mumble a silent curse at a plethora of reviewers responsible for its demise every time I see the game mentioned or a question like this.

Think Deus Ex meets Mirror?s Edge.

[Img_Inline width="275" height="159" Caption="Imagine Parkour Around That!" Align="left"]http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/9720/futurecityconceptbyfren.jpg[/Img_Inline]You use parkour to navigate around a near-future sandbox cyberpunk city as you attempt to bring the injustices of a corrupt government to light and overthrow it or quell the restless population for said government. Either path has its pros and cons, with the outcome changing depending on how you play the game.

You?d be able to achieve your goal by assassinations, evidence gathering (like taking pictures, stealing documents) or by securing weapons and arms for a revolution or convincing those with weapons to not deal with the revolution. The way you achieve your goals will depend on how the revolution proceeds ? whether it?s violent or just protests or never happens. You?d never have to kill anyone if you don?t want to and never have to play it one way.

You would be able to have cybernetic implants and genetic alterations from black-market clinics, allowing you different types of vision (Heat, Infrared, Night vision, etcetera), faster running, higher jumps, hidden weapons and the like.

It would be fully voiced, with a dialogue system that would allow you to read exactly what you?re saying, but with options like Bioware?s dialogue wheel (aggression, intimidation, persuasion, kindness, and neutral responses). This would mean you could theoretically play the game persuading or intimidating the right people.

[Img_Inline width="275" height="177" Caption="Maybe A Good Start For The Hacking Mechanics?" Align="right"]http://www.mrcracker.com/wp-content/images/uplink.jpg[/Img_Inline]The city should be fully fleshed out, with various stores lining the streets at the lower levels, and as the levels get higher so does the class and the maintenance of the city. As you progress you can make it further up the in the city with various safe houses and the like. People would wander the streets and you can talk to them to gather information.

There?d be hacking. There needs to be hacking. You should be able to have a larger impact on the game just be hacking into various things and stealing data or changing it. You?d need to talk to people to find relevant targets but you could theoretically complete the game by hacking the right places.

Also: Vehicles. I want to have my hover car and to be able to place them around for a quick getaway, or to be able to steal other vehicles.

It would be the greatest example of cyber punk gaming ever.

EDIT: I forgot Co-Op online play with persistent worlds. This would be the most fun ever. Have some friends distract the guards with a fire fight, explosions or something else creative while you break into the building and steal top secret documents. Fuck yeah!

An MMOFPSRPG.

Don't care what exactly it is, like if it's in space or in Ancient Egypt, in the sky or underground, I just really freaking want one.
You mean like Anarchy Online?

I would like a better and harder sequel to Republic Commando
A Gothic-like RpG in Warhammers Old World
A Sequel to Drakensang
A new Z game
A good remake and update of Command and Conquer 1
Realms of Arkania 4
A game Based on Sid Meier's Pirates! only that the sneak and fight minigames are done in 1st or 3rd person action scenes.
I would like a Mount and Blade Game with a way huger map and more factions. Like crossovered with Medieval Total War.
I'd like the Wing Commander Series completed plus a new Privateer Game

Dungeon Keeper 3.

While there's a whole bunch else if I get a decent DK3 I think I'll be happy for quite a while.

Well, poke and laugh at me all you want, but I think an open-world RPG set in the Pokemon universe would be pretty cool. Like, with all Pokemon actually having 3D models. It'd take forever to make, I know, but hey - start with the first 150, and maybe expansion packs would introduce the rest.

Are there even any MMOFPS games yet?

Paradox Alert. How can you be Incredibly stupid yet having Intelligent conversation with another Retard. Anyways, while the game story and setting was fantastic, it's the gameplay that lacked. Likewise, it's Story and Setting that bring Fallout 3 / 3.5 down but it's gameplay who's fantastic.
That was beauty of it. If you were of average or above intellegence then the retard NPC would be like "urrr hhuuhh" and "ggrrreeee" and you were like "Ummm ok.... what did u want again?"

When u talked to him as a retard too it became:
"urrrr hhuuhh (Greetings fellow traveler, how does thou art fare today?"
and
"ggrrreeee (I really need some help with my cattle, they are being attacked at night by radscorpions"
and you would reply "HHuuuggghhh GGrrr Raaddddscccooorrpppp (Of course my good man, I would gladly help you dispatch these pests)

I laughed so hard. Keep in mind Fallout 1 and 2 are OLD games and back then everything was cutting edge. And whats wrong with turn based combat? I loved Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (turn based board combat) and Final Fantasy (Turn based combat again)

Now I did hate some of the later fallout games like Brotherhood of steal. I didn't MIND fallout 3 all that much. I loved the RPG element and the sheer size of the world and of course, the huge customizabilty. And yes, bloody mess is a useless perk but good if u want a laugh.

A Shadowrun game done in the style of GTA; perhaps with a few different short-story characters for each branch of Shadowrun (Magic, Tech, Corporate, etc).

Going off of one of the articles on the escapist recently. Id like to see a true zombie survival game were the players always inevitably loses. You just try to stay alive as long as you can. Im thinking something like Fallout but instead of wasteland in all directions hoards and hoards of zombies. Forcing you to pick your battles carefully and conserve reasorces for when you actually need them.

Zombie Survival Open RPG.

Obviously this would not be a game for everyone, but I think it would be the first game to portray zombies correctly.

Id like to see a rivival of the old Resident Evil Series. You know, before they just became boring samey shooters. The puzzles, the story and the suspense of having only a knife to fight 6 zombies. Oh the nostalgia!

A game where you drive a minigun mounted bulldozer around a golf course for the sole purpose of trashing up the well manicured lawn.

Good work!
How about the introduction of moles and other furry fauna as 'bonus points', once of course the underneath rotary blade has worked its magic, tsk, darn pesky critters!

Because I just mentioned it in another thread, a Napoleonic War FPS. (Hoping someone will heroically swoop in to announce that one already exists and hence become my hero).

I also wouldn't mind FPS technology going further back to increasingly ancient battles, where you have to fight in major world conflicts. Like, for example, being a soldier in the armies of Alexander the Great, where you have to march among thousands of soldiers fighting your enemies with a small sword, a spear, and other historically accurate weapons, blocking your enemies' blows with your shield, waiting for the ideal moment to leap out from behind your shield and stab them, all from First Person Perspective. That would be pretty damn cool.
