Kinda scares me that noone has said this. Have we all given up or just forgotten?
Uhm, read the first page again. 9th post from the top says Half-Life 3 :p.

A Pokemon game that had all regions and Pokemon up to now included.
Also this! God damn that would be like 600 hours without replay value. I wouldn't need any other games than this for a year!

1. The previously mentioned open roaming Pokemon RPG.

2. X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter.

3. A decent lesbian dating sim.

4. An MMORPG with an enforced RP policy. Don't ask me how it'd be profitable, but it would be nice to have an MMORPG where the RPG part actually matters again.

5. A straight to computer conversion of Warhammer 40k. The Dawn of War series is great, but I'd love to be able to get into the actual miniature game properly without the extreme investment in minis.

6. Fully realized, stand alone Blitzball. No joke. I really liked that mini-game.

don't forget phantasia. all we got was the crappy gba version.
OK, the GBA version was probably the worst thing EVER. removed all the humour and the graphics were terrible. Really went downhill compared to the SNES version...
oh yeah I should mention

Xillia sold over 560,000 copies during it's first week in japan. if you factor in the size of the country that balances out to about a fuckton stateside. in other words, it's very very likely it will be released here.

Skyrim.

Oh, you mean games that don't actually exist? Now I understand!

Unfortunately though, I don't care. My answer is still Skyrim. :p

Due to having recently taken interest in the series, Twin Peaks: The Game sounds like an instant buy for me.
Oh, wait they already made it, just under a different title:

A game that's a cross between Assassins's Creed and Diablo.

The story elements of AC along with the climbing and traversing the landscape, with the loot and battle system from Diablo. If ever such a game came out, productivity will be shot to hell and my family will wonder where I am.
...and now I want this game.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY.

Half-Life 3.
And for those of you who says Half-Life 2: Episode 3 (Manchester United 0), the episodic system no longer works for games that take longer to make than the first Death Star.

Also on my list would probably be any new Fallout game since, even though Fallout 3 was a bit eh for me, I absolutely adored New Vegas.

Oh, oh! And Borderlands 3.

I mean with this hypothetical games that do not (yet) exist that you would instantly love and give big amounts of money.

For me this would be something like a cross between Borderlands and Bulletstorm.
Taking the wacky story and humour from Borderlands and the combat from Bulletstorm.
And with combat I mean the variety and diversity with which you can murder the other guys.
Just as long as it also has some more diversity in the missions, more things besides scavenger hunts and murdering dudes and their dogs. Well, except for escort missions, I never want to see those again...

Also, other games I would instantly buy, an HD remake of Tachyon: The Fringe, Neverwinter Nights 3 (if it was made by Bioware again) and a game based on the TV series The Prisoner.
Fuck yeah Tachyon

also:

Zone of the Enders 3

Right?

I'm having a hard time believing NO ONE has even made this game yet.

This is highly unacceptable.

A Killer 7 sequel/prequel... whatever, just give me more of that amazing mind-f*ckery that is Suda 51's wonderfully bizarre creation

An open world rpg based in Middle Earth done in the style of the Elder Scrolls games.

This would seriously be my dream come true.

Grand Theft Auto Gotham City: The game where you do missions for super villains and run the **** away from Batman.

A Green Lantern game where you select the type of construct you want (ranged weapon, melee weapon, vehicle, etc) and then how large and elaborate the construct is depends on how long you hold the button down.

An iphone/ipad/droid/galaxy/whatever augmented reality game that takes the camera feed and adds Pokemon (or something equivalent) to the real world. Different mons are only available in certain areas. Some like to hang out on hiking trails or in the middle of real lakes for example. Want to catch a particular fish monster? Rent a boat. Trade with friends from around the world becomes essential when catching 'em all yourself would involve lots of plane rides.

The Elder Scrolls: Arena (DO NOT make a Mojang- Bethesda lawsuit joke) remade with current generation graphics in 3D with better controls and better combat with any balance issues and bugs fixed.

A new red dead redemption game starring the Indians. I'd buy 4 copies just because of awesome.
