Games I would Christmas Giggle over:
RLH (Run Like Hell) rebooted; This game is a tragic example of a real-world situation mucking up a perfectly good shooter. After numerous financial issues, they rushed the hell out of the action part of this game. While the story is well above average for a shooter, introducing new alien types both hostile and friendly, the gameplay was... not so much. There was never a chance of it becoming the trilogy it wanted to be, and it has since been lost into obscurity. Also, it's the only game I know of that has a cheat code that does nothing other than play a Breaking Benjamin music video.
A sequel to the Eternal Darkness game, with updated graphics and new characters. And of course, new additions to the Insanity failures. Simply put, this is the only game that truly scared me while playing it. (I'm not much for shock value.)
Planescape: Torment. Don't do anything to it. Just start making more copies and put it back up on the shelves, please. More people need to play this game.
How about an RPG where the overall mission ISN'T to save the world from an overpowering evil force of some kind? I'm looking at you, Final Fantasy. Right at you, with a stink-eye and an upturned nose. For that matter, keep the love interest subplot to a minimum as well. Let's see what type of story you guys can come up with when you DON'T lean on those two crutches.
