A full 3d version of Golden Sun on every platform, so everyone can appreciate what a good Jrpg is like.
Ugg, I hated that game, THEY WOULDN'T STOP TALKING!!!
What's the point of an rpg if you don't want a great plot?

The text parts weren't excessively long, and it all added to a great story.

I can only assume you are one of the gamers who say rpg's would be good if they removed the text and interaction and just make it one long battle from start to finish,
which imo doesn't make for a good rpg.

Two Crude Dudes, I don't know anyone else other than my next door neighbour who has played it, it was a bit like Streets of Rage. But we used to play it to death on co-op on the mega-drive.

Shadowgate (NES)
Metal Gear (NES)
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (Famicom)
The NES versions of Metal Gear weren't Canon. The Canon versions of MG1 and MG2 were released on a home computer console called MSX. Those are the ones I'd like to see remade.
The NES versions were just modified ports of the MSX versions, from my knowledge. That aside, Canon or not, I enjoyed them so I want them remade using MGS4s engine. And that only after Shadowgate gets remade. (I know Shadowgate 64 existed, and I own it, but nonetheless I want a new one)

Although I acknowledge that I may be seeing this game through rose-tinted glasses.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time. For the sole reason that it would be completely badass.
Why? There's nothing wrong with the original!

You can even download it onto your Wii if you don't still have your N64 version ;) (EDIT: Or the GameCube ports they released.)

I don't really want to see any games re-made. It just encourages more non-creativity.

That said, Zelda: Majora's Mask, done very similarly but with updated graphics, would be pretty awesome. Not gonna happen though.

Games being re-made are not just for this generation. I'm sying like maybe if gaing is still big 10-15 yrs later. I'd love to see how Shadow of the Colossus would look then.

Yeah, made by the same team as well I do believe, but they took out all of the customization stuff from the original Deception. That, and I just want to see a protaganist that's not a helpless little girl like they did with Deception II, III, and Trapt.

Super metroid with zero mission physics/movement
Pokemon G/S/C

Mario 64 is probably the only Mario game that is yet to be remade (except of course the more recent ones), but would it be worth it?
it has already been remade, DS style.
2 bad it wasnt for wii
oh yeah
that sucked though IMO, and wasnt a proper remake in my eyes, because it was marketed purely on the different characters, nothing new was added in terms of environment, and the run system killed it.

I want a remake of Vagrant Story, because I would love to see the game completely voice acted.
Son-of-Jude-Law-On-A-Tricycle! someone got there before me.

It doesn't need to be remade as such. Just re-release it with voice overs. The music and graphics are fine and dandy.

Remake Guardian Heroes with graphics like Guilty Gear X and 10X as long.

Okay, Blue first: Marathon is one of those games fortunate enough to have fans that'll actually stick with an update project until it's done.
You can play it in pretty-shiny-o-vision via Aleph One or there are numerous mods out which were actually finished, too, like the Unreal Tournament mod.

Secondly, all those people after Road Rash should know it was remade, with live-action video cutscenes all over the place (several for starting a race, winning a race, losing a race) and somewhat prettier graphics for that little-known console called the 3DO (also home of such classic titles as the original Gex and Offworld Interceptor).
EDIT: I think it was also released for the PC but it was arse.

Thirdly, X-com's already been remade (if you don't like the UFO: Afterxyz series you can always hunt down the open source fan-game: http://ufoai.sourceforge.net/)

And lastly, why has no one mentioned Syndicate or Turrican yet?
Honestly, you people disappoint me...
