Games that you would rather watch videos of than play yourself.

Gotta agree with that, I learned a good deal from watching those. I had a great one that I tried in a fantasy mod about assembling a frankenstein's monster and trying to give it every promotion in the game, inspired by others. Plus it helps that I am always boring and just go for science / cultural victory every game.

That makes for the best game because there is always some one going for the conquest victory and seeing the more science and culture players take the defensive measure's to defeat their attackers and then eliminate them all together is just awesome.

To some extent, Minecraft, because I'm not as creative as other people. And Starcraft 2 because I'm incredibly bad at it but it's still a good spectator sport.

I love watching these games being played by other people, Starcraft 2 because of the difficulty and Minecraft because it's interesting to see different people's reactions to the game that has had the most popularity of any game in recent months.

Really? I'd say Metal Gear Solid has a rather "cinematic" story, but then you arguably watch it more than you play it when you're playing it, too. Ah-hah-hah.

Anyway. Metal Gear Solid aside, I've always maintained that if Final Fantasy XIII were a movie I probably would have liked it much more than suffering through the 12 hours I could stomach, so I'll go with that one.

Games I don't tend to be too great at. Certain platformers like...say, Psychonauts was a lot of fun for me to watch. Strategy games are good ones too, like was mentioned earlier. Starcraft, Command & Conquer, etc.

I like watching replays of RTS games like Company of Heroes and Dawn of War II. I like the games, but I usually suck at playing them.

I like watching Call of Duty gameplay from guys like onlyusemeblade (For gameplay and commentary), Sandy Ravage (For gameplay) and el presador (Mostly for commentary, but for a bit of gameplay too).

I hate playing cod. I fucking hate the aim assist. (Yes, you can turn it off in BlOps, but a) only in the multiplayer, so that's not good enough and b) BlOps was terrible.)

Marvel vs Capcom 3.

I had the game for a couple of weeks but, while I enjoyed the game for a while, I hit a point where I just couldn't get any better. However, I went through a short phase where I really enjoyed looking up matches between "professional" players. They are freakin' insane at the game and most matches I watched were intense and strategical from start to finish.

I don't understand the fixation people have with OMFGNinja and the efforts they'll go to trying to "expose" him as a fake. Can't they appreciate a skilled frag video without getting all butthurt because they're jealous?

I liked watching Terraria videos more than I liked playing it. Maybe it was because it didn't live up to my expectations. It also depends on the person who plays the game.

Same here. I found Terraria to be boring and the ability to skip ahead in videos was invaluable. Also, Yahtzee's various early attempts at game making. They were god awful to play but thanks to a quality Let's Play of them (http://lparchive.org/The-Chzo-Mythos/), I at least got to see how they turned out.
