Right now, it's the remake of "A Boy and His Blob". There's nothing really spectacular or groundbreaking about it... just a typical platformer with some puzzle elements, both are rather bland, at that. Even so, "THERE IS JUST SOMETHING ABOUT IT". I don't know if it's the charm (there's a "hug blob" button, for crying out loud), or if it's the relaxing nature of the game, or what, but I really like it.

Oden Sphere. I love the character stories and play though them regularly whenever I need a good story. The game play is simple yet satisfing. This game is easily my #1 game of all time.

Fallout 3 for me. I could write pages on all of the various faults, but it's still the best game I've ever played, except maybe ME2.

Mechwarrior 3.

Played more like a simulator than the arcade rubbish that came after it. It's the best by miles.

Diablo 2. Graphics were decent at best (even for the time), story was thin, one click combat.

The combat has been replicated by more modern games like Titan QUest and Torchlight and while I liked these games...I keep coming back to D2. It's just deeper. Awesome athmosphere, cool characters with endless possibilities. LAN works brilliantly.

I don't know, I love it. No way in hell D3 can be better, especially with Blizzards new design philosophy.

Prototype would be mine. There's nothing particularly spectacular about it, it's just a reasonably solid game with some good ideas.
I feel much the same way about it. It's a great game if you're just in the mood for some random and fun destruction. I also like messing around with all the different types of powers, mixing and matching to find the most untraditional yet effective combinations. In any case, I can never seem to get tired of that game, it's incredibly fun.

But what truly takes the prize for me is Braid. I have completed that game over two dozen times and it's still not enough. There's just something about it; the visuals and the sounds simply mesmerize me. Often I sit down, complete the first world, go back and take all the remaining puzzle pieces... And then boom, before I know it three hours have passed and I've completed the game again. Such a wonderful and fantastic game. One of my all-time favorites. I think I'll play it till the day I die, revisiting it at least once every month.

My all time favorite game is Final Fantasy 7, and I'm playing it over again for the fifth time now.

There's just something about Dead Space that I find appealing... I mean its boring and too easy but for some reason...

Second Sight for me probably, that or Morrowind, I could come back to either hundreds of times and still have fun

Republic Commando, it just feels more real than anything that has ever come out.

Awesome names have been thrown so far.

For me, it'll always be the Megaman X series. I just love them. I could finish them with my eyes closed but I'd still play them over and over. Hell, last week I went from X1 on SNES to X5 on PS1 and that's because I don't have enough time, I already have X6 and X7 waiting for me.

Also, Castlevania Symphony of the Night. I love it, and I think I'll always will. It's simply an amazing game that never fails to keep me entertained.

And finally, Final Fantasy VII and VIII. There's something about those characters that gets me every time.

Rome - Total War! The graphics are somehow perfect, even though they are 8 years old. The gameplay is fun and fairly complex, and the epic feeling from smashing two massive armies together is incredible.

Demon's Souls is the game that I've been playing on and off since I bought it last year. Once a week or so I load it up and progress a bit on whatever NG I am at. I think that the main thing that keeps drawing me to it is its very unique, extremely gloomy atmosphere. It's like reading one of Lovecraft's novels, it never gets old or loses its dark, mouldy feeling.

Baldur's Gate I and II and Icewind Dale I and II. I can still play those over and over again.
You have awesome taste. I have to wonder why not Neverwinter Nights I and II though. They're pretty similar.

Metroid Fusion is a game that has always stayed with me. I lost it a few years back but I remember it so vividly. Portal and Half Life are another two that I really like, pretty obvious why anyone would like them :). Warcraft 1 2 3, and vanilla WoW. The memories were sweet :)
