Alan Wake when the wife gets taken (don't cry "SPOILERZ!!!" at me, if you haven't played it yet you either won't or aren't that interested in).

Mainly cause she seemed like somebody worthwhile to protect. Also because she had a very believing scream and they portrayed her fear of the dark very well.

And OHHH!!!

The Silent Hill series. They all just gave you an amazing sense of dread and loneliness, even the so-called shitty one.

Actually, you know something?

There is no game out there that evokes literally no emotion, be it joy, sadness, anger, frustraition or even boredom.
All of these are TRUE emotions each as valid as the last, you will find next to NOTHING that evokes absolutly no emotion at all.
I think its reasonable to assume that boredom and some forms of frustration are exempt from this thread.

The reason why I don't say all forms of frustration are when it seems like you can save somebody, but cant get passed a window or something.

The moment in Heavy Rain when you find out the killer is
Scott Shelby. I felt like I was supposed to feel sorry for him or something, but I really just wanted to shoot him dead then and there and for every moment after that. In hindsight, I would probably would have let him die as early as possible if I had known.

If anger really does count, about every online game EVER. Kills my faith in humanity over and over...

Lost Odyssey, Final Fantasy VI, VII and IX all made me really sad at several points. Also really proud of myself when I defeated a difficult boss. Especially in L.O. when the 2nd last boss beat me 4 times in a row, II went to grind and came back and destroyed it.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion made me feel anger, sadness and regret all in one quest. Dark Brotherhood spoiler ahead.

the quest in which you have to kill everyone in the cheydinhal hideout because you're told one of them is a spy. I was angry at first at whoever the spy was because he caused me to kill them all, then i was angrier when i discovered it was all a set up and none of them was a spy. I was sad because my favorite characters were all dead and I regretted doing that quest. It was not fun.

The ending of Kingdom Hearts 2 was a mixed bag of emotions. I had to fight the last boss( which has about 6 stages) 2 or 3 times because i was underleved but i wasn't going to go back and grind at such an intense part of the story! It was hard but I felt so good when I landed that final hit. Then the ending scene where they all get back together. I cried tears of joy. But i also felt sad because it was over. The music helped too.
That's the song down there

You have a point there, but can i argue that despite how much i try, the Sims cannot evoke any emotion in me what so ever?
Nothing?
Not even boredom?
Not even mild interest?
Not even apathy?
Cause I'm pretty sure apethy counts as feeling somthing, technically, maybe.

I gathered as such, but I thought I'd point it out, partly because I thought it was an interesting point to bring up but mostly cause I felt like being a little bit of a dick for a second :p

Unreal 2's ending got to me a little, as did HL Ep2. I got angry at the end of Prince of Persia 2008 before realizing that it actually got to me enough to get emotional about it. Lastly, Pong. So sad.

well I would have to say the mass effect games simply because of the involvement you had in the events so when my choices had consequences on the poor npcs involved. Also dragon age origins for the same reasons.
and while i'm at it the beginning of AC2 brouight on much anger. I actually enjoyed the ending to that first assassination in a personal vendetta way.
