I was shocked to see a penis in GTA IV The Lost and Damned DLC. I really didnt see that coming. I believe that was the first modern game to have full male nudity *correct me if i'm wrong*

The games with real nudity, shocking are not, are few in number. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are both Witcher games and God of War (well and eroge from Japan, if you want to count those).PeePantz said:

That attitude is even more prevalent in the US, which is basically the biggest video game producer in the world, which means most video games are going to not have sex or nudity or anything even vaguely erotic.

I always considered it specific of US culture to be honest. You guys there over the ocean seem to really have something against nudity in media. Even most action flicks with loads of violence, swearing, explosions just shyly hint at the side boob while many European movies have full frontal nudity without having the 18+ rating slapped on it.
For the same reasons Witcher 1 was so 'shocking' due to it's sex cards. It's something that in Poland where the game was developed was not even noticed, it was taken as natural yet the western world (mostly US) somewhat raged about it.

Also there is a shower scene in Heavy Rain.
If you want to go back to crude nudity there's Custers Revenge on 2600, possibly the most offensive game ever made.

Honestly, I can't remember aside from God of War, that 1 bit in Mass Effect. Anything else has fallen victim to my crappy memory. I wouldn't mind more, but it'd have to be tasteful, even then, prepare the bulkheads!

Only counting mainstream games that aren't porn games:
-God of War trilogy and handheld spin offs
-Dante's Inferno
-Mafia 2 (collectible Playboy centerfolds)
-Red Dead Redemption (the Mexican Revolutionist leader)
-Grand Theft Auto 4: The Lost And The Damned (This one actually shocked me because it was the first time I ever saw full frontal male genitalia in a mainstream game)
-Sims 2 (if you used the cheat code to remove the censor blur, but doing that reveals the Sims are as anatomically correct as a Barbie Doll ie: no nipples or genitals)
-BMX: XXX (even though it is pretty much a sexploitation game, it isn't technically a porn game because you don't date women or have the goal of having sex with them)
-Heavy Rain
-Dead Or Alive series (in an old one there was a level that if you went to the bottom level was a room filled with clones of the female lead in tubes that were naked and if you slammed your opponent into a tube the clone would stretch and show some boobs. Also in Xtreme Beach Volleyball during the opening cinematic shows one of the girls stripping naked to go skinny dipping at night and at some points you could see full frontal nudity. However, like the Sims 2 nude cheat code, there are no anatomical details such as nipples or genitals.)
