Absolutely every Metal Gear Solid game. Even 4, which was much improved in terms of gameplay, had a lot of weird multiple button holding action that my hands hurt like fuck.

Resident Evil 5. I can't play the game because the mapping is so retarded and you get maybe two other mapped choices which are equally bad. So in conclusion, RE5 sucks.
Did you never play Resident Evil 4? One of the control schemes was the exact same. I spent hours on Resident Evil 4 so maybe that's why I was used to the controls.
people who play re5 and complain about the controls while AT THE SAME TIME saying how great re4 is annoy me, the controls were fine, get used to it...

I think I once played this semi-awesome Indiana Jones game where Square was to punch with your right hand and X was to punch with your left.

However, you could bypass this by picking up a shovel and beating them to death with it instead.

Or shoot them.

Come to think of it, maybe the controls weren't that bad. At least you could bypass them.

...was that directed at me? Because I wasn't complaining about the controls. I loved Resident Evil 4 and I kind of liked Resident Evil 5 but it wasn't because of the controls. I didn't like it as much because it was shorter and more frustrating and less creative.

Wizardry 8, if any of you remember that classic RPG. It's not too hard to get used to moving with the arrows and doing everything else with the mouse, it's just that it feels awkward after playing any contemporary game with the canon WASD movement controls.

R2 is designed like a trigger, yet it throws grenades.
a few times i threw by mistake n had to "run awaaaaaaaay"
You don't like that? I hate using R2 or L2 for shooting, R1 works best for me.

Nooo twas at the guys above who posted about the controls, i tend to rant sorry ><

i agree it wasnt as good as resi 4 but not because of the controls, i just didnt feel th same sense of joy, or even fear. and when everyone had guns towards the end of the game, it really died in my eyes...

I know what you mean. It's because of all the different control modes and the default one sucked. I always just used the "Nightfire" control scheme because it was the only one that didn't seem stupid.

Also, I didn't really like the controls for Mirror's Edge. I guess they made sense with L1 being upper movement (like jump) and L2 being lower movements (like sliding) but they got annoying, I would have preferred to just have X be jump and maybe O be sliding and such.

Also, MGS always screwed with me. It took me 5 minutes to navigate the menu because O was select and X was back. So I'd finally get where I wanted to be and then accidentally hit X and go back a menu.

Terminus. The mapping isn't bad, mind you, it's just that it makes use of all the letters and numbers, then most of them again as ctrl+. Things like the comms panel are placed in the latter bunch, which really screws up some of your missions initially.

Oh dear lawd, I remember that. It had about seven completely different control schemes, and only one of them was good. God forbid you if you accidentally pressed down on the Xbox thumbstick and changed it.

i finally got to play Marvel VS Capcom on the 360 the other day and i thought the button map was really weird.
I liked the Hot-keyed super attack but i couldn't figure out which button was Heavy Punch/Kick and Light Punch/Kick, making a few of my combos not very effective.

I know this is odd- but, World Of Warcraft - I have small-child hands so I can't say hit the skill bound to '6' on my keyboard while hitting space-bar to jump.

So now - I have to have my entire 10-skill Death Knight rotation in a /castsequence macro.

It's horrible.
I have to agree. I too am of the mini-handed WoW player variety, and given Retribution paladins are massive face rollers, we need about 7 number buttons to keep it going...even more if the enemy in question is Undead/Demon, and MOVING while thats going on and rotating the camera? Well thats just mean...

I have some kind of monster hybrid macro, where I only have to use the first 5 number buttons, though if someone needs a quick divine intervention...sadly they're just gonna have to wait for me to get to the button it's on because I cannot reach it. -_-

Also being left handed too makes for fun times.
I'm the best dpser we have when the monster is staying the fuck still but then it starts moving and I seriously suck with my camera movment. Quick turning at Yogg is a barrel of lols. And we're supposed to be trying it without freya soon. HA haha...hauggh kill me.
