The classic Sonic the Hedgehog series. This includes Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, and Sonic & Knuckles. Sonic & Knuckles is my favorite out of them, mostly because of the awesome soundtrack. Sonic 4 Episode 1 is okay, but it doesn't seem to have an identity of its own. It mostly just rips stuff off from Sonic 1 and 2.

I am such a fucking Marathon fan boy. I've played the originals through many times, and love the Total Conversions that people have made to death. When people ever talk shooters, I almost always bring it up. I have been known to talk length about the plots, including those of the TCs.

At least, I'm more a fanboy of those than anything else.
