So, tell me fellow escapees, which games are you just truly terrifingly good at, either because of natural talent or lots and lots and lots of practice?
For me:
The Tekken games. Practice made me pretty perfect.
Resident Evil 4:
I played this game so much, I was able to give everything headshots with every weapon from everywhere. I basically sniped with my basic handgun, I did handgun-only-no-upgrade-runs, and even one melee only (against everything that can be meleed)-runs.
I spent WAY too much time with that game, which is, why it's still my all-time favourite.

And last but not least: Vanquish.
Sheer talent. The flow fits pretty much perfect with what I want the perfect shooter to be.
And the fact that you have to plan a few stepts ahead is also nice.

i don't think there are any games i am really good at (i was pretty good at quake3) but that being said vanquish busted my balls.

i simply do not have the hand dexterity and/or flexibility to aim with one stick, direct the characters movement with the other, while holding one button down to shoot another to reload all the while hovering yet another finger over R1 (R2 maybe) to so i can "power slide" when necessary. fuck that shit.

Mario Kart! Just throw all the blue shells you want, I'm too far ahead for you to ever catch up!

And my 6 year old is a grand master button masher, he desolates me in just about every fighting game out there!

Bad Company 2 (console). I once took out an entire armoured column consisting of 2 tanks and an APC with just my own tank and came out of it with 50% health.

I had a skill rating that hovered around the high 190s BTW (the highest you could get was 200). To my great regret, I'm not as good at BF3, but I do enjoy it more.

Tetris.

I could not have played it for years and once I start up again, it's like I never even put it down.

Well, I guess I am okey at Left 4 dead, considerating I am able to solo campaings (as in, play alone with no bots). Granted, it *IS* on Normal difficulty, and even then with a fair number of retries, but those are not much considerating the campaing lengths and all (around 20 deaths or so per campaing).

I will eventually start trying on Expert difficulty, should be funny.

I was pretty good at Brawl back when I had a Wii. My problem was that I mained Ike, so anybody who was good at a fast character with a projectiles *cough*ToonLink*cough* could run circles around me, despite my best berserking efforts.

Nonetheless, I'm unstoppable in hand-to-hand in that game.

I've played Sonic Generations a lot and I'd say I'm pretty good at it now for the most part. Sure there's gonna be plenty of people who could run circles around me but I feel my times are pretty respectable (mostly).

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (or 3 & Knuckles, I guess it should be called).
Thanks to playing that game many, many, many, many times during my childhood, I can now get through it as any character, getting hit maybe once, snag all fourteen emeralds, and do it all in less than an hour and a half.

Mount and Blade Warband: The Napoleonic wars

I am awesome at that somehow, I have a high hit ratio (for that game) and make a damn fine melee fighter and leader.

I was pretty good at Resident Evil 4 but not as good as the OP.
The most impressive thing I did was use the handguns (no magnums) to complete the game on Professional difficulty. I upgraded everything though. That took up a good chunk of a rather dull summer.

I'd like to think that difference between the way I play Arkham Asylum/City and the way everybody else plays it, is that... I AM BATMAN!

The main Sonic games. Perhaps not speed-run level of mastery, but pretty damn good if I do say so myself.

I am addicted to trying to speed-run Sonic Generations. I can't stop playing it :D
