No game has ever satisfied me start to end however Uncharted 2, Mass Effect and Modern Warfare (both) were so satisfying overall that I was willing to forgive the sections which started to drag on a bit.

Halo: Combat evolved.

It's the game that made me a gamer.

Also have to give mention to Mass Effect and Bioshock but Halo will always be number one.
You poor, poor individual. I equate becoming a gamer from Halo to losing your virginity to Rosie O'Donnell.
I liked Halo, I feel no need for sympathy just because you personally did not like a particular game that I happened to like. Frankly I had a lot of fun with the game and continue to do so to this day, and am happy because looking back on it I am playing a game that I enjoyed. I respect that you don't like Halo but honestly I see no reason to flame people who are guilty of no crime other then listing what is their own personal choice of a game that fully satisfied them as is the topic of this thread.

P.S sorry about the late reply, I haven't had internet working for a while at my house.

No game. Absolutely none at all. Even the games I think are masterpieces, I didn't play from start to finish without noticing some things that annoyed me a little and could be better.

The closest I have had to a game that truly satisfied me without any breaks from my enjoyment of the experience would be Half-Life 2. Even in that there were moments when I thought "damn, that could be better" which takes away some of my satisfaction from the game.

you haven't played 1?????????? ..... omg .... >.< .... **chokes** ... ok .. ok .. whatever you do .. DON'T play the gamecube remake .. play the original for ps1 .. download the original from PS1 classics on psn .. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

you haven't played any MGS until you played one
What's wrong with the remake? Better visuals and MGS2's moveset... I don't see the problem.

OT: Half-Life 2.

kh 2: it let me satisfy my intense hatred toward disney characters by letting me beat the shit out of them. oh and the main story wasn't that bad either. could have been beter though if roxas had more screen time.
Megaman zero 3: great story line i actually would count the whole series but 3 was my favorite. and that crap on the ds was shit.
S4 league: online multiplayer shooter. there is no story just go in and shoot ppl and the game paly is solid and because of the koreans, it will actually tell you when u have been on to long so you can get off and go have a life away fro the computer

Modern Warfare 2 never disappointed. And I'm not a fanboy, i retraced every level and tired to remember if I go pissed off and I didn't.

Portal. Definitely Portal.

Though there are plenty of games I consider good or even great, Portal is the only one I can recall where I was never frustrated, not once, and I played the whole game with a smile on my face.

AC 2 is a close second though, but some sections annoyed me to the point of controllers getting tossed around the room, because at some moments Ezio apparently thought that 'drop down silently' meant 'jump on a guard three stories down for no apparent reason'.

Half Life 2 (Orange Box), Bioshock, WC3, CoD4 (the single player. Not multiplayer because it annoys me but it is still very good) and Rome Total War

first of all they ruined it with these cheesy as hell cutscenes (mgs1 was more realistic and didn't try to turn itself into devil may cry) .. also it's just the overall experience

ok, don't think .. i say think of a game (3 max) that have literally satisfied you start to finish .. played with your emotions and left you in your seat gobsmacked

here are mine

1. metal gear solid 3: snake eater

2. devil may cry 3

3. kingdom hearts 2

:p what are yours?
I'm stiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiill in a dreeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaam.... oh sorry

these are all very good games. Kingdom Hearts is still better than KH2, but varreh varreh gewd

Majora's Mask. Dancin' monsters forever
hahahaha ^^ ... snaaaaaaaaaake eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaterrrr ... no need to apologise for bursting into epicness mate haha

yeah i'm actually pretty sure KH1 was better, the thing is i never really got to sit down and enjoy the game alone .. (played and completed it at a friends house) i actually owned KH2 and got to sit and really get into it ... maybe that's probably why i preferred 2 .. i'll never forget hollow bastion haha :p

majoras mask was awesome! ... but i was a kid when i played it .... the giant angry moon closing in with bells kinda almost scarred me for life haha .. so i stopped playing it XD
