STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. Despite the comically bad voice acting and translation to English, I felt engrossed in the dark, foreboding Zone.

Fallout 2. Pissed off how in Fallout 3 there wasn't much to do after hitting level 20 (or 30)? Fallout 2 had three times its content and it was awesome. Like, grizzly-bears-firing-machine-guns-made-of-nuclear-explosions-awesome.

The first time that I played Mass Effect and I didn't do any of the mind numbingly boring planet scouring missions.

Hell yes. Screw the Mako and the jagged terrain you had to drive it across.
