Especially the alien levels. The controls used to invert so I couldn't fly straight (come on, I was like 5 when I started playing it )

There was this game I used to play on the Sega Saturn.
I remember there was a Skeleton in golden armour and lightning would strike him to give him power (maybe). I think the game had multiple paths and multiple endings and there was definitely a two player battle mode.

I think there was also an old man with a weird Pokémon style pet in it.
I also remember that there was a graveyard/cemetery stage and at one point there was a wooded area and perhaps even a coliseum (but maybe not).

Yay, I remembered it, it was Gaurdian Heroes.

Well here's my post with a fancy new italic style...

It was a point and click game, cartoony visuals (similar in style to disney films) and the main character was a boy, perhaps the King's son? He had a sister with blonde pigtails.

There was some conspiracy and some evil knights I think.

The main character had very low ears. Like, his ears were attached way lower on his face than is normal. Each scene usually had little jokes and sequences you could activate although they served no purpose to the plot.

Oh and there was a mode where you could drag-and-drop the various characters and items into the main screen and they would interact or fight. Perhaps a minigame, I dunno.

Hey guys, hope you still active in here.
I'm searching a game where you played as a guy and could jump an run left and right.the first level was a thing like where you were in the jungle and had only one laser kind of gun. it sent out a ray going over the whole scrren if you pressed ctrl long enough. you could find uprgrades for the ray to make it bigger but there were also other guns... To have the exitlocked up you had to collect (red?) round signs where the woard Goal was written on. Does someone now a game like this?

I'm looking for a game, I think it was for NES or Sega Genesis.

The game starts off with you running away from the shadow silhouette of this large beast.

Later in the game you team up with this large guy who is foreign to the main character. I remember this large man repeating a word that sounded like "Augusta, Augusta", throughout the game.

In one level you are trapped in a swinging cage that you must swing back and forth.

Can anyone help me with this, I loved this game.

For both this guys, the game is Out of this World, first at Commodore and then ported to SNES and Sega Genesis.



Now, my doubt from a long, looong time and i baguely remember now, the only thing I'm sure it's a SNES sidescroller that i rented at a video game store (and i was like 8-12).
Anyways, like i said, it's a sidescroller, with the levels designs were megaman-ish like. It had plenty of levels and you could go back on them. The main character was, well i don't remember that but i'm sure he didn't have like a weapon, but you could find them in game (like a sword that some other guy had on another save slot and that i died and lost it). Concerning the char size on the levels (to not be mistaken) ranges from Mario and Megaman.
It's possible i played a japanese-only game, at the time i didn't know english either, so could be either english or japanese)
I know it's too vague, but it was a very long time and i always felt like playing again since i only rented it for the weekend. Anyways, this is a great and nostalgic thread, I feel like playing Soul Reaver again after reading it from here XD

I remember one that im intersted in remembering. it was at my dentists office where they had a cabinet set up wit ha genesis inside, and there was this game that started with your character flying in a ship, then the engines just seem to stop working. you crash, then it goes to your heart rate, where it eventually flatlines. then OMG IT COMES BACK ALL JAGGED AND SQUARED OFF! YOUR A CYBORG NOW!!! so, yeah, you are in some kind of fighting game where you pick a laser, saw or machine gun , possibly among others, i could only figure out how to even use the laser. you pick a body type, and fight with cpus or another person. thats ALL i remember.

OMG YES! lol thanks, all it took for it to click was the beginning of the intro sequence! i never did get past level one, but i remember my cousin had it or a game like it who did.

*sigh* People, what I'm about to put here is umm...look, I was not what you would call a 'normal' little boy. I hated sports, and couldn't care less about things like Hot Wheels and Transformers. While I wasn't into girly things either, it still doesn't explain this game about umm...

Ponies.

A pony game on the Sega Genesis. There used to be a rental store I would go to during the 16-bit days, and back then you bought or rented games based mainly off of the boxart. I was drawn to games with really bright and colorful boxart, and this pony game had exactly that. I have no idea what it was called, only that you played as a pink pony and I think there was a birthday party or something. And a haunted house level.

I seriously doubt anyone here has any idea what I'm talking about, and I'm not sure I WANT anyone to know what I'm talking about.

I remember this old CD based point and click game I played at a play group, where you play as a small blue child in his pyjamas and go up to some great building in the sky (possibly a dream world in chaos, I can't remember). The only in game thing I remember is getting a crowbar as the first item and finding a machine that creates water with a tank full of "H" and a tank full of "O" connected to a device in the centre with a small "2" on it.

yo i played this game when i was 7 or 8 it was an old pc game about a cop in the future, you have to go around talk to ppl and check crime scenes for clues, it came out sumwhere between 95-98, i hope thats enough info cause i cant remember much but it was a reeeeeealy good game lol

This would be Pajama Sam 2: Thunder and Lightning Aren't So Frightening. You've made me want to play these games again, man. XD

Now I've got two!

1: It's a PC game, at least 10 years old I'm thinkin'. It was a horror game where you played as this woman whose husband/boyfriend gets possessed by a demon or something and goes around killing women, and you're supposed to stop him. From time to time, there were cutscenes showing different women being killed in different ways. At one point, he captures you and ties you to a chair with a guillotine blade above your head and you have to somehow free yourself before he releases the blade to kill you.

2: Another PC game, probably at least 10 or so years old again. It was a point and click game (I think, anyway) where you played as some kid in a creepy, disturbing world or whatever. I can't remember much at all, but one thing I clearly remember is that you could use a pile of dead rats to climb places and whatnot. You could also salt giant slugs to death or something like that.

Ok, this is going to be extremely vague, but when i was 7-8 i played a demo of a game on pc where you were this roman gladiator looking guy that gets teleported onto a platform that links into a pyramid and you used a sword to fight Egyptian styled monsters, i think you could also use magic. later that level it started blending into roman-greco mythos and medieval/european style enemies. the level i played was set in a dungeon and it was a 2D side-scroller. Mine is an old batman game for one of the sega consoles
THe final boss was Joker in this space ship like thing with four turrets, and had two stages where you had to fight it.

Been bugging me for years.

This might be like really obvious... but this is all I remember. When I was really young, someone was playing this game on the PS1 (I think) and this level started out in a gun shop... and I remember them talking about how good the magnum was and then after they bought guns they went into a hallway with zombies. And then there was this big boss guy who killed someone with a big concrete thing and some people bled purple blood... it could be something really obvious like House of the Dead or something but if anyone could tell me what this game was I would love you forever.

It was for the sega i got a yellow light sword and a purpleish dark sword and made them into a green perfection sword to fight the dark lord and defeat the dark dragon or something like that

I thought I didn't have any, since my memory's usually sharp enough to remember whatever games I've played. But there is one. Small game, but I remember playing one where you got to catch apples in a basket thrown by a porcupine, but you had to dodge rocks. Surprisingly hard.

The other I only ever owned a demo for on the PS1, it was a fighting game where you selected your fighter alien/robot thing and were dropped onto a 3D battleground and could attack each other until one died or shunt them off the edge of the level. I remember one character was like a motorcycle/rhino crossbreed thing and had a charge attack. And that's about all I remember sadly but me and my friends loved that demo.
