A game on I think Windows 98. It was a sidescrolling game which had rooms. There was like ladders you had to jump on, and there was 4 rooms I remember clearly.
1 was where you had to go through this teleporter which took you to the bottom of the room, which also had another teleporter in the same space, which took you right next to it. You had to pick up something like a battery in that room.
1 was where there was 2 floors, one under the top one, and you had to jump onto a ladder on the top one.
One was where there was missiles or a giant railgun or something on that line shooting at you while you were on this elevator kind of thing.
The last one I remember was a boss. You had to keep shooting him until - Well I don't remember. I would just either die or run from the room down the ladder to stop myself being killed.
I can't remember what the enemies looked like. But I do remember what they sounded like. I think they were robots because they would make a sound that sounded like someone saying "eeroy" or "leeroy", high pitched and given a robotic kind of noise to it, when they moved. I really want to play it again because I loved it.
And I know it sounds a lot like a Megaman game, but I'm sure its not.

I'm not sure if anyone posted this (it's very unlikely, but entirely possible), but I remember this one Japanese import demo I played way back on PS1.

The game was about this protagonist fighting robots (I think) using different bombs. You could plant bombs or throw them at the enemy, and it was sort of action rpg'ish.

If anyone has any idea what this game might be, that would be brilliant.
It's definitely not Bomberman or Mega Man. I don't even know if they made an American edition of it.

Thanks!

Hello, I am trying to find some old pc games that I downloaded about 8 yrs ago or so. It was a 3 Game Combo and all 3 were player vs computer. The 1st had "Cash" in the title and it was played on a grid with different colored circles placed in random spots. The object was to get 5 or more of your X's in a row across, diagonally, or up&down. The entire grid would be filled. Winner would have the most cash or points.

The second game was called "Desert Ship", I think. It was also played on a grid and you moved your ship 1 square at a time to get to various Islands. Some of the squares would have a ghost or monster hidden in it. If you landed on one of those you could choose from a limited amount of weapons (arrows, cannon balls, etc) to kill it. To win, you would have to make it safely to all islands.

The third game was called "Indiana Smith", I think. There were 2 different character opponets to choose from, 1 male and 1 female. Your curser was a pick axe and you chose from several piles of rocks. Some would have money or jewels underneath and one would have a bomb. Who ever had the most money at the end was the winner. The male opponet would say at the end of the game, if he lost, "I'll get you next time Indiana."

If anyone knows the correct titles or knows where I can download them again, it would really be appreciated.

Uhg... There was this one game and it was on the NES. You played as this guy who was going to rescue his girlfriend or a princess or some random damsel from the Menacing Warlord like guy Who had this fortress and you infiltrated it. I think it was in feudal Japan and the thing that really made me remember was the in the end there was this CRUEL easter egg that if you don't run to the girl and just walk she would kick you in the face and kill you instantly...

I CAN'T THINK OF IT D:<

First was a space civ sim. You had your race and there were other races you could diplomacise with. I remember one of the other races looked a bit like a sandwich... I remember you could build ships, and you first decided the size of the ship, and filled up the ships slots with engines and weapons and shiz, so you could fill it full of engines and have it mega fast or have no engines and all weapons for a really slow gun platform style thing. Also the only way to travel between systems was by wormhole, but you could set up wormhole blocks or something...
EDIT: And it was turn based! I think. Well it might have been. Probably?
Well, if you're wrong about them being turn-based, then perhaps Star Control 2 or StarFlight?

maybe someone can help me..
I used to play this computer game, I think it is from the early '90s, where you had to build an underground village for dwarfs. You could build bridges and ladders and a lot of buildings, for as far as I can remember.
The graphics looked a bit like MapleStory (an online game. I don't know if it is 2d or 3d, anyway, moving dwarfs , but the background was sidescrolling, i think)...
Hopefully someone can help me, I want to play it again so badly!

I think it was game where you played as a cop, and the graphics were somewhere around the mid-90's. The only thing I remember well from it was that the player could walk up to to a toilet, press the use button, then hear a toilet flush and a male sigh of relief. Why do I remember this so well, because I played it when I was 5 and that kind of thing was still funny back then.

Im looking for a old pc game i cant remember the name of, maybe someone can help.

Its a top-down space game where you control a ship and fly around doing missions. I remember the first thing you did was save up money for some sort of hyperdrive and fuel which you used to fly to the next system. You could get there by flying normally through open space but it would take forever. (The "hyperdrive" made you go faster, but still travel normally, and drained special fuel)

Other than that you could buy weapons etc, talk to people on nerby planets/ships etc. It was not a tactical game with lots of ships and it was story driven.

I used to play a game that was arcade and for a console (can't remember which one). You had three characters to choose from. A short bearded man with an ax, a woman and a tall muscular guy. It was almost mythical. This was like 20 years ago and I can't remember much more than that. I do remember you could switch between the three for game play.
Golden Axe maybe:

I'll try to repost this one from a few months back. It really gets to me that I can't find the name, it was such an awesome game.

This is a PC game from the 90s.

A spaceship finds itself stranded in an unknown solar system. Because of this the player needs to start colonizing nearby planets for ressources. As the game moves on the plot thickens in various way, the stranded spaceship isn't quite alone in the system, and the player needs to adjust his goals as the story moves forwards.

The game is an economic building/management game, with a lot of focus on exploration and ressource management.

It has various views controlled from the spaceship:
Planet Management, top down sim city building view
Planet scouting, small arcade sequence where the player controls a recon craft. Top down view.
Science, player selects technology for research.
System navigation, player plots a course for the mother spaceship to fly.

The special twist of this game is that it combines management gameplay with a well paced storyline, that very directly influences the core game. The player is faced with various missions and tasks that needs to be accomplished, sometimes with a time limit. The game sometimes feels like one long tutorial although a very enjoyable one.

I don't remember the name and haven't been able to search for it.

I have two games for you guys to discover. Unfortunately, what I remember from them is very vague.

1) This game was on an old DOS computer. It was set in Ancient Greece, though the story I haven't got any clue of. You play as an (old?) upper-class man, and begin the game waking up in bed, then making your way to a nearby bar. The game is highly reminiscent of Hugo's House of Horrors (same type-command gameplay), which was also on that computer.

2) This game I have no idea what it was originally on, other than some form of computer. The game featured some sort of male adventurer, who had to make his way from the left side of the screen to the right (or vice versa), all the while avoiding large monsters that patrol up and down the length of the screen. The idea was to dash across when they had their back turned on him. There may have been gemstone collecting and boulder pushing, but that might be me merging two games together. :D

Good luck, because I've been trying to find them for ages.

I'm new to the community. One of the main reasons I registered today was THIS thread lol! I've been looking for this game for 3 years now and can't find any characteristics of the liking!

Its a pc shooter from the 90's. 3d actually. You command you're platoon of "sci-fi armored" soldiers and of course you control yourself. You can give orders to your platoon. You battled the opposing platoon. You could fly around with jetpacks and the guys kinda looked like Bubba Fet from Star Wars. One of the guys name that I remember was "Cool Breeze" or something like that. I remember SAM sites having to be destroyed as objectives. Your platoon would be talking your ear off after getting shot, gunning someone down, getting away, or taking a bad order from you.

I really hope you guys can help me out. I've been fiending for it. Let me know if you need more details in the description

Thanks in advanced!

I am beating myself up for forgetting this game! It was an arcade game, back in the 80's. It was a first-person shooter game where you had to shoot bad buys that would randomly pop up from behind bars and stuff. I think you had to shoot targets too? The graphics had a lot of brown color in them, like it was the old west or something. The arcade game had the little gun connected to it.

And there was another game that had a boxing kangaroo in it and you had to fight her. She had on red boxing gloves. I don't remember if it was an arcade game or maybe for the NES? It was terribly fun to play. Can anyone help me remember and stop this brain-duh moment? Thanks bunches!!

It was an old ps1 4 disk game. It started off with a girl that had lost her memory and you could battle creatures in the forest, go to cities that had universities, and to the sea all while shes trying to find clues as to who she is. The game allowed you to choose a name to name her it didnt have a set character name. I played the first disk then stopped because I lost the second one. When I went back to play the first one again....it was gone.
