hi!
i want to remember a PC game!
so it was from the side. you vere able to chose 3 classes 1. some red aliens 2. green aliens 3. blu aliens.
you would start in a different planet for each class. so your goal is to fight the 4rd class that you cant use. their the enemies they were some sort of parasites. they corupted lakes and made them theyr spawning place! so my workers could colect crystals and pearl balls and with them i could make buildings like baracks which aloved the workers to go in them and train to fight! and the map you could scroll around in 2 directions left and right. but the map had limits if you want to see and do something further in your planet you were suposed to make lighthouses. you could colect artifacts and in some places you could place them and they would do something i didnt remember. at the far right (or left, depends on which side of the map you start) of the map or the middle there was a little mountain with a hole. you were suposed to find the key for the hole then put it in there and it would open a portal to a diferent planet and you would hawe to fight the same aliens in a diferent place! each of the 3 races had theyr own planet! but if i were the read race the other 2 races wouldnt be in game there would only be the 4rd race and the green races and the blu races main buildings!
SO PLZZ CAN SOMEONE TELL ME THE NAME OF THIS GAME!!! I WOULD REALY APRECHEATE IT! THANKS ANYWAY!
:):)

I can remember almost everything about this game except for its title think it had legend in its title but can't be sure, think it was made roughly in the 90s, the main menu for the game was like a signpost at a crossroads along two dirt roads and it was set kind of fantasy pre-medieval (at least the part I played was), you viewed the game over head in the 3rd person with early 3d graphics, it was a point and click type game and as you got companions you had to select them. Anyway when the game starts the main character you play wakes up in some ruins and say "I woke up and my memories were gone" or something a lot like that and apparently there's something about him being the chosen one, he also has some magic/sacred dagger with him and a normal bow and arrows, you then fight your way past animals (I remember some sort of toad on a beach that shoots acid at you) until you finally reach a village (can't remember much about that part) do remember they (at one point) they want you to go kill some wolves that have been attacking them. unfortunately that's all I can remember, I uninstalled it as a kid since I couldn't read at this point so I was just clicking menu options to see what would happen, that it uninstalled and I was like ... oh ... damn that's right, they usually include uninstall in the main menu :(

I'm looking for a game I used to watch my brother play on the PC, infact it may have been long enough ago to have been on our old Acorn computer.

It was a 2D adventure game, the main character carries a gun to shoot baddies, you could collect other guns, some of which shot at 3 angles at onces. Some of the baddies were black blobs on the celing that shot pink balls. He collected massive piles of stuff like fruit, skulls and potion bottles. To go from room to room you pressed down on these pads and it kind of transported you there. There were platforms that went up and down to get you around a level, and also I remember a weird thing happened sometimes when the whole level would start to fill with pink fuzzy stuff that you needed to stay away from as it used to blow up if shot at.

Thats all I can really remember...would love to find it as if I could get hold of it again would make a nice prezzie for my brother.

I believe my game in question is a Sega Genesis game. It's a side-scrolling fantasy game where near the beginning of the game in the 2nd area the level has a dip in it & if you went into the dip & looked up you'd be teleported to somewhere high above. In this above area there was, like, a Fairy Goddess or something whom you could speak to & she would give you a fairy to help you in some way. Jumping down from the area would put you back in the same spot you looked up from.

For a visual of the area with the dip it looked like this: ---------_______--------- & your character would start at the far left.

Also, the background sky was either orange or pink(like during sunset) & the areas that I remember were grassy as if the character was walking through a field or plain. Also, I'm not sure how much this will help but there was a song that played in the above Fairy Goddess area that was different from the area where you looked up at. The song in the Fairy Goddess area, to me, sounded very similar to the end half of "Layla" by Eric Clapton. Skip to about the 3 minute mark & listen until the end to hear the part I'm talking about.

I apologize for the incredibly vague description it's just that I was very young & can't recall exactly how old I was when my 2 older brothers & I played it & that's all I can remember about it.

TBH, though, I'm not even 100% sure that it was a Genesis game. It just seems like it is because I think I remember it being before the Sega Saturn came out & after our SNES broke so the Genesis was the only system we had at the time. Although, if my description rings any bells for any SNES or Saturn games please let me know.

Thanks in advance! ^_^
Ok, never mind. I found out what the game I was trying to remember is called. It's called Wonderboy in Monster World.

Every now and then I get memories of this game but I can never pin down what it's called exactly. It was one of the first games I ever had on PS2, it was this weird JRPG which had the most awful voice acting I have ever experienced in my life. The battle system was quite strange too. It was turn based and the whole battle field was separated out in to hexagons which you had to move between on each go. I remember the cover (PAL) was a kind of dark blue colours with a beam of light shining down the middle with a character standing at the bottom in the light. I think the game was called "Arc" with some subtitle too I think. Something like that anyway. Can anyone help?

Theres a JRPG with terrible voice acting called Arc: Twilight of the Spirits.

No hexagons though. Great game :)

YES that's it! Thank you! That's been bothering me for years! I don't know where I got that hexagon system thing from. Must have been another game. Now I have another game to try and remember...

My dad played a game, that I'm desperately trying to recall, on the PS1, I'm sure. It starred a female. And I want to say it was in the vein of gameplay like Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, Parasite Eve, or Silent Hill, where you walk around with a gun, and would bring it up and aim. And I want to say the storyline was more espionage-esque, not survival horror. I remember there being big contrasts of light and shadow in the backgrounds, which I'm sure were pre-rendered backgrounds that animated here and there. The main lead was kind of provacative, and I want to say she had black hair. The characters were drawn kind of like cartoon/comic over the pre-rendered backgrounds, which seemed like 2 different styles, but cool at the same time. I remember the game had a lot of Oriental undertones, possibly even the setting, but more modern times. That's really all I can remember.

Ive got 2 stumpers that come from my 1st days on a PC back in 1996.

1) It seemed like a futuristic 1st person point and click game. All i remember was that it was realistic and not cartooney... 1st area involved walking around a classroom/colony type of place.

2) Other was a quiz game. Contestants were aliens and had some bald real human as the game master... I always played the green tentacled brain alien :)

Thanks and goodluck!

I just thought of another game. Its a first person adventure puzzle game where you walk around and collect different items to move along. It was in a 3D environment and the first thing I can remember is a gazebo near the very beginning where you find your first clue to continue on through the game. The more I think of these games the more games that come back into my head.

okay so i signed up just for this, ok so the game is about a haunted house. the beginning you have to find a key to the back door, then later you have to change the time on the clock. And at one point you go to the oven, and when you open it a monster pops out, then goes away. Then later a ghost talks to you in the bathroom, then you play a ouiji board with it. Whats it called grrrrr. P.s. the main story is something like finding a gem or a girl.

I know the game have the words gem in it or something (most likely)
