From 5th generation polygons to unsettling rotoscoping or MotionCapture. We all have our own tastes in art or what is creepy. Image posting highly encouraged.

Mine:
*Goldeneye (but that didn't stop me from playing it).
*Minecraft (still not preventing me from playing it).
*LA Noir & Heavy Rain (The look reminds me of the Prancing Pony scene from Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings).

The people in Oblivion creep me out, probably because their faces are scary looking, haha. Whenever I am randomly walking and someone runs over tries to talk to me from behind, so the camera quickly swings over to them, it makes me jump because of their faces... When it happens I sometimes yell out "OH FUCK what is happening!?"

The same thing has been known to happen from time to time when I get attacked at night, but with fights I just listen for the music to change, so it is not as bad.

I feel like the only one that thought the original tomb raider was kind of creepy just because of that, the graphics and the sound.
I totally pissed myself at some points ... then drank the piss ... what??? .. i'm not wasting good piss just because of a game!

Have to agree with tomb raider, first time I encountered that bear I freaked out.

Also, Goldeneye was extremely creepy in retrospect. The low rez textured faces are actually quite terrifying.

The Stalker Games. Ever been caught outside during one of the Emissions?

Run. Don't stop to stare. Get indoors, or die.

Jedi Outcast. Don't get me wrong I love that game, there's just something about the character animations though....

I absolutely love the visual style of the STALKER games. The muted tones and fantastic lighting effects, not to mention the attention to detail and ambient music, all working together to make a brilliantly ambient and creepy experience at times.

Yes. This. A thousand times this. The people in Oblivion terrify me. They dive straight into Uncanny Valley, in my opinion. Which was a real shame, considering Oblivion had some great things going for it otherwise. But graphics-wise, I'll take a stylized game that looks pretty over an attempted realism that ends up creepy any day.

It was at times, I agree. There was a level with a mummy or skeleton or something sitting on the throne (I believe the room had two, one on each side). They'd sit silently but if you pulled out your gun it would target one. I hated that. Knowing that damn thing would come alive but not knowing when or how.

I'd have to say Wurm Online. The graphics are nice for java, but the character models are so stiff and creepy looking.... I was working at a forge... a friend stood inside of it and waved at me... I look up to see a flaming person smiling at me, slowly waving in the creepiest way possible.

LSD: Dream Simulator.
Seriously, this game grinds ever other potential contender into the ground.

Oblivion. You get the never ending suspicion that all the people around you aren't human, that they all woke up next to pods this morning. While the 3 voices they share add to this, the lack of facial expressions and poorer quality textures give everyone a far too clean feel, like they were all made in a lab. Going underground was always weird, especially the Aeylied(sp?) ruins.

Amnesia. That whole fucking game was creepy.

Batman: Arkham Asylum could get pretty mind fuck-ey in the Scarecrow sections, though it's not the best kind of horror, there's no real subtlety.

The wasteland in Fallout 3 can get creepy in a you're totally alone kind of way. Stalking feral ghouls in the tunnels gives you the sense that you are the predator, until a pack falls on you unawares. Then you're running from 6 or 7 ghouls all hell bent on murdering you.

Holy balls, someone else out there finds L.A. Noire creepy? I was beginning to think I was alone in that regard. Something about those faces, every time I see footage or a picture of that game, I just creeped out. Nothing else gives me that uncomfortable uncanny valley feeling like L.A.Noire. I can't even bring myself to play it, despite wanting to see what all the high praise is about. It's just too unsettling. Heavy Rain, however, doesn't have that problem for me.

GTA games can get eerie in the less populated spots, especcially at night. I remember in Vice City wandering around the mansions and houses, which lacked everyone but me. But the creepier and lonelier, the more likely a collectable was there.

...What the fuck is that last one!? o_O
Let's just say it's a Japanese game based on a dream journal. It's also the most disturbing game I've ever played. Definitely has the creepiest graphics of all time.

Shadowman comes to mind from the N64. Apart from the Voodoo influences the textures just creeped me the fuck out.
