Act Raiser on the SNES. I loved playing that game as a kid and I've never met anyone who has either heard or played it. I have spoken to people online who remember it though.

Two Crude Dudes on the Mega Drive. me and my bestfriend co-op'd the hell out of that game.

Also a racing game kinda like Wipeout on the original Xbox called Quantum Redshift.

Jet Grind RADIOOOOOOOOO!
please call it by its proper name (jet SET radio) next time.
The boxart said Jet Grind Radio where I live >:p, though to be honest I don't remember if Professor K said Jet or Grind. I need to play it again.

I've seen a few mentioned here that I was gonna say

Kickle Cubicle (the 2nd one is rare, not got it, but the first is unknown)
Battloetoads (I actually have the GameBoy one, not the NES one)
Mike Tyson's Punch Out! (Yes, Mike Tyson's. Not just "Punch Out!")
Lost Vikings (not got it anymore)
Hydro Thunder (everyone played it in arcade, nobody bought the PC port)

someone mentioned Timesplitters? But it's kinda known over here.
Someone also mentioned Populous: The Beginning. I take it for granted though, having a Master System or Mega Drive (I forget which) cart of the original Populous.

Psybadek (essentially kids shovelware on PS1, but has it's moments)
Hogs Of War (becoming a cult classic now, but obscure at the time)

and for the longest time (it did a bit of a Psychonauts it seems) Freedom Force (and it's sequel) were completely unknown. Recently finally picked up the sequel for just 28p.

EDIT: I have cardboard box Ico too, and a copy of Shadow of the Colossus.

It is called jet grind radio in america but in the rest of the world its called jet set radio so that makes jet set radio the true name for the series.

THE UNIT (Xbox360)- Very fun and entertaining third person war game, where you take control of one of three characters, lead a platoon of 4 guys into battle, calling down support in the form of turrets, vehicles, replacement troops, etc, on the fly, with the points you acquire through defeating targets or capturing objectives. You also improve your characters individual specialized weapons as you advance. Also co-op, so you and a friend can split screen them evil Nazi's.
Wasn't that game called The Outfit? Anyway I loved that game when I rented it. I would play it with my brother a lot. But I would always get angry when he used an exploit with a wheelbarrow vehicle that would basically give him infinite soldiers. He said that it wasn't unfair but I still disagree.
Yeah, that was it. Sorry, dunno what I was thinking of.

Also, the wheelbarrow was hilarious. Didn't know about the 'sploit tho.

Megaman X: Command Mission for the gamecube. I hadn't read anything about it and bought it on a whim. I didn't enjoy it at first but it grew on me...

There were two games I've owned for about 2 years that I've never even heard of since, called "Return Fire" and "Three Dirty Dwarfs"

An old flight Sim called Silent Thunder. Not bad but never completed it because I was seven at the time
The A-10 tankbuster game? That game was awesome, though I used to fail the missions due to bombing friendly forces

Anyone else remember (this is very old, about the time of dos) LHX?

Tetris Attack! My God it was awesome. But then again I lived in Greenland. Not everyone up there had a SNES.

That and Klonoa were my answers.
Though Odin Sphere, one of my favorite RPGs on the planet, isn't ringing any bells with anyone I've met.

Super 3D Noah's Ark. It sucked, I was horrible at it, and I hated it. As I grew up and got older I would bring it up to some of my friends, but no one knew what it was or what I was tripping on. And then I learned that it is kind of infamous in the gaming community for being a horrible and blatant rip-off.
