This gets me thinking. Have I ever really finished a game 100%? I can't think of any I've done absolutely everything in... Except for maybe Dink Smallwood.
IMO 100%'ing is more common now with achivements, but I always had the mindset (I pay, I play) couse im dutch 
Closest I've got is 960/1000 of Bad Company, I have everything but 20 squad memember spawns in a single life, and all awards, wildcards, trophies, though I'm rather close.

i am happy to say that after 4 different attempts i completed mgs4 and man i had to work for it the big boss emblem was only the second hardest i got the game done no alerts no kills to find out i was 1:32 over 5 hours and man i was angry
pokemon firered i even bought action replay so i could get every pokemon and then withou rare candys i managed to get every one to lvl 100 there were some like charmander and squirtle and for that matter togepi that i got twice so i could level the first form to 100 i was so happy then i realised man i gotta get out more lol

Psychonauts. It was awful. The eyestrain from Black Velvetopia was terrible. (If you've played that game, you'll know what I'm talking about.) The reward custscene was hilarious though.
Burnout Paradice beaten 101% on the 360, but I said fuck it on the PS3 and just got the Time Savers Pack
