I have 3 copies of Oblivion. My first 2 copies got screwed up somehow, in the same method. I was fortunate the GOTY edition was out when I decided to pick up a third copy, because I never had live yet.

Warcraft 3.

Mostly because I keep losing the damn disc, then go to buy another copy because they are so damn cheap, only to find the disc again the very same day.

Did Blizzard give these discs feet or something?
There was a patch a while back, you don't need the disk anymore.
So if you see the disk walking around, dip it in boiling soup for not staying put.

I am usually not too bad with my games, but I have bought 2 copies of Ratchet and Clank 2 and I had 2 copies of Jak X cuz the original I bought as a pre-owned game and it didnt work, usually I would take it straight back within the 7 days and get a new copy, but I just left it after I bought it for about 4 months, finally got around to playing it and realised the game skipped frames BADLY. I also have God of War 1 and 2 multi copies cuz I bought the Ultimate Collectors of GoW 1,2, and 3 bundled and this time the God of War 1 & 2 has trophies and better graphics, so I am currently playing through them again. I am such a trophy whore.

I have a few that I have more then one copy of, mainly due to when my wife and me first got together we had a lot of the same games. They are older PS2 gen games for the most part.

I've bought three copies of Myst, and I have two copies of Myst III. Also, I have, between purchasing Uru, and the subsequent rererelease of Uru Live Again, have two copies of it and its expansions.

I've got Mass Effect on te PC and X-box. I grabbed a cheap 360 copy after realizing that my PC wouldn't run ME 2.

Re-ran through so I'd have a save.

Pretty much all of them are from Valve (because they are so awesome)
I originally got the Orange Box for the 360 because my PC during that time wasn't up to specs.
As I got a better computer, I gradually got it again.

I also got the Game of the Year Edition for Fallout 3 as well, but that was for the DLC

Ditto for Episodes from Liberty City

GTA4. Foolhardily bought it on PC before realising it was the worst port in living history, then got it second hand for the 360.

I also have Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption for PC twice, as the first one got scratched. The second one was just TWO POUNDS and it's a great game (once it's fan-patched).

Company of Heroes, Sim City 4 and Civilization IV (one I found in the U.K., it was a special "PC Gamer Presents" game, meaning it's a high rating game on their magazine and it's being sold at a very neat price. The other one was Civilizations IV Complete.)

I know this all too well. I've got 2 copies of RoC and 3 TFT, all fine and working. Everyone always asks why I simply don't pirate a new copy.

Other than that, I've got two copies of Mass Effect 2. I forgot I had already preordered once, and did so again. When I got the package, there was a brief moment of confusion followed by a smack to the back of my own head. God damned university-stress. Oh well, at least I could trade my DLC codes for America-exclusive DLC.

Oh, and Half Life 2. I've had an extra copy on Steam since I bought the Orange Box, and everybody and their dog (no half life-related pun intended) already owns the game so I can't gift it away.
I don't have half life... Don't hate me.

OT: I have, over time, owned about 3 copies of Diablo II and about 4 copies of the Lord of Destruction expantion (lost at LAN's).
I've owned Icewind Dale twice (Misplaced over the years).
I've owned Bauldurs Gate (PC) 4 times and the Expantion, Tales of the Sword Coast, 3 times (loss, cousin damaged discs, Friend borrowed and retuned without install disc).
Bauldur's Gate 2 (PC) twice (Misplaced when moving).
Bauldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1 twice (once on PS2 and Traded in then Re-bought for Xbox recently when I saw it pre-owned as I regretted trading it in, for a WoW time card no less. It doesn't even work in Australia on a 360 =[ ),
and finally Bauldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 twice as I taded it in (same time as 1) then regretted it a few months later but the disc was scratched when I re-bought it and I've not found it again.

Hey, it seems lots of people have extra copies of HL2... I'm looking for HL2 right now, so if you're willing to gift it to me, I'd really appreciate it :D

I own two or three copies of X-Com (original)

One on CD, and bought once on Steam, and bought again with the X-Com All In Package.

Several versions of the City of Heroes/Villains game, but somewhat justified as the other editions give you goodies and another month of playtime.
