Too many to mention. The most infamous being Champions of Norrath. By myself I could probably beat it but its more fun with friends (even though they have devolved to cheating which is ok for a few things). The problem is that they hold a very low attention span and keep on changing their characters every time we start it up. I am the only one with a high level powerful character.

Here is a list of all the other games I have not completed due to my shifting attention:
Age of Empires
KOTOR
Dragon Age
Icewind Dale
Final Fantasy XII
Doom 64
Hexin 3D
Demons Souls
Fallout 3
Half-Life 2 Episode 2
Prince of Persia
Oblivion
Morrowind
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2
and many more

Games I have completed:
Legend of Zelda OoT, and TP
Portal
Half-Life 2 , and episode 1
Shadow of the Colossus
Fable 1 and 2
Resident Evil 5
Warcraft III, Starcraft, Starcraft BW, Starcraft II
Soul Caliber IV

The lists are actually bigger but these are the ones I can name off easily (and with at least some recognision).

Silent Hill 2. It is wonderfully moody and has an awesome story and music. but it it is SO FUCKING BORING. walk into this room, oops you cant. same goes for the next 5 doors. this door is open, but there's nothing inside. OH WAIT it's a puzzle! cant solve it yet, cuz you need to CHECK MOAR ROOMS for puzzle items! and throughout it all there are insanely annoying battles. GEEZ. what a horrible game to play. to this day i have never gotten past the bloody hospital.

And God of war 3 on titan mode... *Shudders*
This, along with GTA: San Andreas (because of that STUPID remote-controlled plane mission), and the platinum trophy for Tekken 6 eludes me because of a certain, piece-of-shit, spam robot named NANCY. Seriously! The only trophy from that game I don't have is the one you get from beating it!
Oh the memories of that stupid RC mission. You have to shoot those vans right? Yeah I did it so many times I did it on my first try on my 2nd and 3rd playthroughs. But yeah I vote for tat being the hardest level in video game history. Along with the last level of GOW1 on titan (or was God Mode the hardest difficuty). I hate clones...

The original "Crash Bandicoot". Well, the last time I played it was years ago back when the Playstaion 1, was the ONLY Playstaion. I watched my dad beat it and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't. I could beat the sequals just fine, but Crash 1, no way. I'm sure I could just pop it in the PS3 NOW and beat it, but I kind of like leaving it unbeaten. It makes my dad happy that he beat a game that I couldn't.

But a game that I can't beat because I just can't physically beat it, probably any game on the hardest difficulty. I play games a lot, but I just play for fun; so I don't really take advice or hone my skills or anything.

There have been quite a few retro strategy games like Xcom, Civ, Master of Orion, etc, but most modern games are a cake walk. Apart from a few which were poor and made me quit out of bordom or disgust, and a few multiplayer based games where the campaign isn't really required, I can't think of anything that I've not beaten.

I beat her with the robot army dood, who I forgot his name, there is an attack you can spam to kill Nancy easily, without it, its way too hard.

youtube it.
You mean Jack-6? Hm, he never crossed my mind. Thanks!

I never finished Oblivion. I would get so sidetracked by everything else happening in the world, that I would never follow the main storyline and end up growing bored of it.

Psychonauts. I loved this game, but 3D platformers are anathema to me, and that final bit in the circus ultimately ended with me abandoning gaming for about three weeks. I couldn't stay mad at gaming though, not matter how much it hurts me I know that there's till some love in there.

Final Fantasy 12. The game was diabolical.

I had lost interest in characters/plot/gameplay about an hour into playing the game but dragged myself to the end boss (being the FF fan I am and as I was optomistic about thinks improving).

However at that point I finally admitted that I did not give a damn about the story or characters and that I did not care if I'd never see the ending, so I just turned it off and have never played it since.

-any of the final fantasy's, no 1 was fun but i got sick of the graphics. 13 pissed me off with the linearity of it, most linear games give a small illusion of choice but oh no, not ff13.
-ninja gaiden 2, so hard
-almost all games involving zombies, this extends to all mediums
-mmo's as well, i love mmo's but they are very long and redundant (which is their nature)

Well...I was going to say FF9, but I actually sat down and finished it...finally.
It took me three tries over the course of 10 years, but I finished it.
This but i have not finished it yet. ive tried at least 8 times but something shiny and new always comes out on the 360.

I'm jumping on the Oblivion band-wagon - it was too repetitive for me. All the gates and caves were essentially the same though sometimes I turned left to navigate the gate or cave and sometimes I got to turn right. And the 1st Mass Effect game too - stop talking and let me play already!

ME 1.
I've done 2 sooo many times, but not 1.
But I'm, at this very second, recovering some old saved files to complete it.
So then I can complete ME2 with the same one, prepared for ME3.
Not sure if I want to do 2, though, as I just finished it yesterday (Again.)

Oh so many, with games being a lot longer than they used to be, most of them fail to be engaging all the way to the end.

A short list of games I started and never finished:
Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
Blue Dragon
Eternal Sonata
Final Fantasy 12 & 13
Gears of War
Kameo
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
Morrowind/Oblivion
Puzzle Quest 2

That's just the recent stuff. Going back further would make the list too large to post in full. :p If we're including games I was only able to win via the use of cheat codes then let me go get my entire NES and SNES collection. :p
