Also, what do you guys think of buying a game new when it comes out, trading it in for another when you're finished (say around October, when loads of games come out) then buying it used when everything has calmed down?

OT: Mass Effect 1 first one was realy scratched when i got it new(the thing in the middle broke
) so instead of returning it i played the game for 5 months haveing to risk freezes due to scratches till i said fuck it bought the game of the year edition
The only one I've ever re-bought is Hitman Blood Money. I originally had it on PS2, then I got it for 360.

I rebought Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus on Steam XD
Even though I still have the original copies on PS1 and a PS3 I can play them on... And then I bought a controller for the Steam version on top of that. I also plan to re-rebuy them when the Oddbox is released XD

Final Fantasy VII is the only one I can think of that I beat, sold, and bought back.
Others:
Most the Tony Hawk games because I wanted all the older ones (2x-P8) on Xbox. Got the Xbox version of Black Hawk Down because they falsely advertised it as a different version when it was pretty much a clone of the PC version. Quake III Arena/Team Arena, Doom 3, and Resurrection of Evil from when I bought the complete Quake and Doom packs when they were on sale on Steam (was cheaper to buy all then to buy just the ones I didn't own).
Others:

Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete for the Playstation. I've purchased this title three times. Once for just the game, the second time for a present to a friend, and a third time because it was the collector's edition with Lucia's pendant.
I bought both FF: Anthology (5 & 6) and FF: Chronicles (4 & Chrono Trigger) despite having all 3 of the available games on SNES... cuz I'm a sucker.
I bought MGS3: Subsistence even though I already had Snake Eater. I think that's it though.
