Judge me all you want but I am sorely tempted to pick up a copy of WET again. Beat it and traded it in a year back but now really want something so tongue in cheek. That and Bulletstorm, again a game I wish I had never traded in

I go back to Pokemon LeafGreen almost every year. I'm attempting a Nuzlocke ATM, but I might just give up on that since I'm outside the Elite Four and my Pokemon are only in the mid to late 40s level-wise. Grinding is booooring...

I recently beat Super Mario Sunshine. I'd say "again", but I think it was actually the first time I beat it on my own. I was not very good at games when I first got it.

If there is one game, one single-solitary game of pure excellence that I wanted to play again, and have been wanting to play again for the last five years, it's a game I consider to be a gem for the original Xbox called "Phantom Dust." God, how I loved that game! I sank hours into it just trying to configure my various skills and attacks for each match, and while I never had the ability to play the game online, playing the game with my brothers had easily filled that void. There was never a time I hadn't been playing it. I thought I would have that game forever, but, sadly, there was a point in my life where money had been tight, extremely tight, and I had to sell the game along with my Xbox. It is still sad to say that I do not have the funds still to purchase another Xbox along with the game, but when I do accumulate the money for both I will certainly buy it again.

At the moment I have a urge to replay Arcanum for the PC. I am mostly afraid it will put a halt on any games I need to finish. For me it is my favorite CRPG and one of my favorite games of all time.

WOW I have not heard of WET in a LONG time. It was a okay game. I would like to try it again at some point.

Maybe the coming release of Final Fantasy X for the PS3 and Vita? I want to pick up VI and VIII on the Vita as well just so I can have all the Final Fantasies on a single platform
Minus Final Fantasy I&II Anniversary, which I find strange isn't on the PSN. They have Origins, but it isn't quite as good.
Lacks the gameplay tweaks, and added dungeons from the GBA release.

My two favorite games are on an annual playthrough, and those playthroughs are coming around again.
1. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Unfortunately, my N64 is dead as fuck, and Nintendo has neither remade it or put it on their eShop, so I'm SOL at the moment (no, I refuse to do ROMs).
2. Kingdom Hearts 2
Currently saving up money for a PS3 specifically for 2.5HD remix. I'm also holding off playing the PS2 version before it releases. Hurry!

Hexen: Beyond Heretic is still screaming to be installed and played, which I haven't done yet since there's this self imposed challenge I want to do in Stalker.

Yesterday I had an itch to pick up Resonance of Fate again, as I never got around to finishing it last time I played (many months, or even a year or so ago). I enjoyed the game, a lot, I just found myself running around doing pointless things too much that I was delaying the story. So I picked it back up, had some fun, ran into a boss fight, feel I need to grind, now in a slump, and I want to keep playing.

Also, Shin Megami Tensei IV, might go at it with a clean completed file and go with Master difficulty, gonna shoot for the Law ending probably. Might also give Devil Survivor: Overclocked another go.

I want to play Fallout: New Vegas again, but I want to mod the crap out of it!
I don't know who you are but you have just become on of my favorite people. I love IX and I don't think it gets the love it should. I just finished my once a year playthrough myself.
So much FFIX love. :)

OT: Hmm...

I kinda feel like going through Shadow of the Colossus yet again. Been pver half a year since I last played it. Perhaps I should also hop on the FFIX train again soon as well.

Few Final Fantasy games mentioned and I have one as well and its FFVII I havent played it in a few years now so I think its good to go back through it again. I may try a speedrun but I usually just end up messing around and having fun still after finsihing it 10 times I can get through it pretty fast now anyway damn I love that game.

I also have an inkling to replay Okami again on the PS2 I just love playing that game its just so much fun and the style and atmosphere is wonderful.

Then there is Skullgirls this one I will go back to no if or buts there its just when at the very latest it will be when Eliza hits and I have my full team but hopefully it will be before then its just im trying to get down my gamestack atm. Ive pretty much abandoned the unfinished SNES games (only 2) so now onto Playstation huzzah.

Pokemon Snap, Zelda Wind Waker, and a few of the earlier Spyro the Dragon games. I miss bright, vibrant, light-hearted games. I watched a quick LP of someone playing Pokemon Snap and it rekindled my love for it. I was tremendously happy to find out I could buy it on the Nintendo shop for my Wii, so I did. The other two games I just love and they bring back fond memories, so I'd really like to play them. I have Wind Waker, so I do jump into that from time to time. Spyro is a bit out of my reach. I might try to play A Hero's Tail which I do have.

I guess the subject really says it all...

But yeah, I'm sure everyone has some game from their youth, or maybe even from a few years back that they still think about and would like to play again.

For me right now that game is Monster Rancher 2 for the PSX. I've been wanting to play that so badly, but I'm not even 100% sure if I still have it, and if I do it's back home (I'm away at school right now) but with any luck I'll be able to check in a few weeks. I used to play that all the time when I was about 10. It was an amazing game.

Honestly, I wanna play Monster Rancher again so badly I'm tempted to go buy a copy of Monster Rancher Advance they have at a local shop here. I know it's not quite as good though.

Hey, not to derail my own topic, but does anyone know if Monster Rancher 3 or 4 are as good as 2 was? I heard they both mixed it up quite a bit... (haven't heard much on 3, but I heard 4 did it in a bad way)

But yeah. How about you all? What game has been nibbling away at the back of your mind lately?
I will do you one better. I scratched that itch, this weekend! The last time I touched Condemned: Criminal Origins on the 360 was back in August of 2007, and I had the sudden urge to start working on the last 4 achievements I had missed on it. So far, two are done, with two to go! The game has aged, yes.... but its still a guilty pleasure. :)

Mine is a little quaint, and it's something I'm not particularly proud of but...

Lego Star Wars the Video Game. Somehow I felt drawn to play it again, due to the many, many fond memories of the game from my "childhood". I dug it up, and started playing, only to realize that I enjoyed it, not only due to nostalgia, but because I find it's a genuinely good and fun game.
but the bugs

A couple of games I would love to play through again come to mind: FFT, the original, not the PSP one, nor the GBA ones, FF9, Psychonauts, and for some reason, Xenogears (the heck is wrong with me? I hate that game...)

I haven't had the urge in a while, but back in Highschool, my junior year I think. I suddenly got the biggest urge to play a Pokemon game. I hadn't since like middle school and was suffering from withdrawal. When I started working that summer the first thing I bought was a DS Lite, Soulsilver, and Platinum. I played the everliving hell out of those games for three months straight.

Mostly RPGs.

I would like to play Dragon Age: Origins in anticipation for Inquisition. Also Fallout 3 or New Vegas.
And I would like to play KOTOR again. I'm also in a mood for the classic Lucasarts games and I'm starting to play Monkey Island again.

I'd also like to replay Bioshock at some moment, which was much better than Infinite.

The great thing about this sort of games is that you get to experience a story after a while you don't rememmber all the details, kind of like in a movie and in the case of RPGs you may take new decisions which can change the story, possibly surprising you with stuff you hadn't seen the first time.

Recently I found my Trauma Center wii games and I had the sudden urge to replay them. I loved those games so much, but then that means I have to plug in my Wii again. Time consuming.

I've been sort of wanting to replay Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones and Darksiders II lately (weird choices, I know) - though I have much too big of a backlog / absolutely no time to game as of late.
