So..I've been trying a smorgasbord of games of late. Here's the scenario: either you've managed a 2.5/3 hours of gameplay a night for a whole week, lets say 9pm-midnight for uninterrupted gaming or Saturday rolls and you truly have all day to play a single game.
Hours upon hours of gameplay.
And you just get soooooo fucking bored. No matter the game, no matter the content or value. 10 hours of gameplay and you wonder if watching soup boiling might be more entertaining, if only for the change of pace.
In the past ten days I've played Amnesia: Machine of Pigs, Pokemon Silver on DS, Shadows of Mordor, Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age Inquisition, and most of all Fallout New Vegas. I was halfway through a quest to help Cass find out what happened to her Caravan and I stopped, anti-material rifle trained on a fiend and I couldn't for the life of me find a reason to keep going.
So my question is this: Is there a game you could play for roughly a week straight and not get 100% bored of? Either through gameplay, plot, terrible characters, it doesn't matter ultimately. Any game you could play for a good ol' length of time and still want to continue
