Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse...Just couldn't get past Bubba...No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't. (That'll lose me a lot of credibility in this community)
I don't remember that level. But yer, to not finish that game is just, sad.

It's like not being able to finish Halo: CE. And they're made with the same game engines.
First time when you meet the rednecks, the final boss is a big redneck with a metal plate in his head and has a chainsaw.

Edit: I didn't finish that either. I got bored of it.

Imperishable Night. I start to tremble and cry every time I even think about it, and it still keeps making fun of me.

Also, I Wanna Be The Guy, but I´m not going to talk about it.

Not sure if this counts but, Too human.
I got to the second boss and gave up after a few attempts, it just wasn't worth my time.

Farcry 2..

I had almost completed the game..

I was glitched behind a barrel at a scene where you can't run or jump...

*cries*

wait. game we couldn't finish or games we couldn't beat?
i finished trama center but there is no way in hell i would have beat it if i didn't use cheats on one of the levels.
likewise there's a whole shelf of games i couldn't finish. assassins creed, starcraft, CoD:WaW, prince of Persia, farcry 2, spore
starcraft: great games, great length. CoD:WaW: got annoying. Prince of Persia and Farcry 2: repetitive. and spore... after you get past the creature phase, it gets kinda boring really...

Dungeon Keeper 1 for me; that said, I was seriously young when I had my goes at it and was such a noob that I'm surprised I even got to the last level.

Funnily enough I actually complete most games once they catch my interest even though I've always seen myself as a worthless videogame player because I used to cheat my way through everything when I was young.

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2. The first fight with Heat is dumb.

Also: Any top-down NES shootergame. Ikari Warriors comes to mind first.

To my shame: Psychonauts. The meat circus was just too much, no matter how many times I tried it, I just couldn't get past that part of the game.

Both Banjo-Kazooie games on the N64 and Donkey Kong 64. I just can't go around looking for golden puzzle pieces or bananas, there are just too many that you have to find!

Shinobi on the Sega Master System II.
I have no idea how I'd fare at it now, but when I first had that game, I got past the second level maybe one time...

seriously, try this game, its demoniacally evil for such a cute game.
totally worth it though, because you get to see the look of confusion on your friends faces when you proudly state "I have defeated Kingsley's Adventure".

Digimon: The Game on the PS1, i had no idea how to beat the first parts of that game, and i don't want to know.

Same, and Digimon world 2003. Digimon world 2 was pretty hard too but by far the best one.

Saying that, I found resident evil code veronica x hard because I had to fight the tyrant with 6 grenades and a handgun by the time I got to him. ¬_¬
Also, Grand Turismo 2. Purely for the length of it, and some of the event races being impossibly difficult (E.g. I would love to see a situation where a Ford Ka can WIPE THE FLOOR with a Ford mustang...)
Oh and Vampire Rain, what is up with game!? Kingdom under fire: Heroes for the original xbox is damn hard too.

MK: Shaolin Monks. Got to Shao Khan once, but couldn't beat him.
Command and Conquer Renagade. Either the 2nd last, or last level is glitched and I can't proceed.
I got to the last level on one of the old sonic games, but couldn't beat it. Only got there once.
Super Mario World. This one level won't go anywhere after I beat it. I used Star Road to get to Bowser, but I can't beat him.

I remember being able to beat Life Force (Salamander) when I was younger, but now it´s nigh-impossible. I don´t know if it´s because I´m older or what, but NES-era games have become so damn hard.
