The 2nd boss on Ninja Gaiden, no matter what strategy, no matter how many walkthroughs I read, I just couldn't beat him, and to this day I still haven't.

ninja gaiden 2 is the only game that i couldnt beat it's just hard even the easiest setting is ridiculously difficult.
I disagree :/
It's not too bad, the staff helps alot early on and then the AoE OP weapons just flood in. Then it's just spam attacks.
Only thing that's annoying is the enemies who disrupt your combo with throwing knives.

Hardest game for me would be Supreme Commander, drives me mental.

The Stealyard section in Fallout 3: The Pitt. The troggs just kept eating me alive.

I turned down the difficulty from Very Hard to Normal so I could proceed, damnit.

Also, final boss in FarCry 1. Or the fight before him. Couldn't beat it.

-Killzone 2 which is my favorite is just SO HARD i like to play game in order of difficulty like i start easy beat the game move up one then beat it again move up one and so on and on the easiest difficultyi died more than fifty time and the game wants u to know u died this many time by giving you the times you died on a level
-plus Star Wars episode 5 on the snes is so HARD i cant beat the second level unless i play it time after time after time
-and ninja gaiden(i hav a friend that cant beat the tutorial level its that hard)

Maximo (Orginal, not the easy sequel) on the PS2 hands down.

Keep dying you lose your armour and it just gets insanely tough when random mobs are one shotting you 'cos you're running around in your pants as all your armour is gone...

Also the final levels on Crash Bandicoot (original) on the PS1 were insane.

(The final boss of)The Last Remnant for xbox 360. That games is orrifice-violation printed on 4 discs. No matter what I did, the outcome would always be the same humiliating death over and over again Q_Q. Playing TLR is like giving someone 60euros to kick you in the balls. Repeatedly.

DO boring games count?
I could never beat GTAIV, not because it was hard, just because it bored me to death.

Overlord because it got too repetetive.

Yaris for its sheer crappyness.

LOZ Majora's Mask. I was too scared of the skeletol fish things in the third temple when I was a kid. When I go back too try and beat it, I can never get the controls down again.

Aqua Nox. I have no idea how much time I wasted on that last level - at least 3 or 4 parts, no in-mission save and a Great Old One (which wasn't even the hard part, it was trying to keep those bloody civilians alive long enough to evacuate at the end).

Aqua Nox 2 is currently on hold...

Wolfchild on Amiga - even with the weapon cheat I only got up to the last boss once.

I've only finished a small handful of RTS - I always run out of patience and move onto something else.

EDIT: Oh and the original Ninja Gaiden on the NES (the Xbox one has a brutal learning curve but once you get going it's not all that hard).

Starshot: Space Circus Fever

The controls were awful, and I had no idea what to do next. I do wish I could've seen the ending, but for a game that bad, it probably wasn't worth it.
