Öuhm... It'd have to be this strategy/rpg game a friend sent me once. It's great fun and very deep (deeper than... say Bahamut Lagoon) with lots of challenging levels, advanced strategic options, class changes and the like. The problem is that it's simultanously a hardcore hentai game : P
I believe that would be Porindama?.....I know, I'm a nerd <_<

I think mine would beeeee...Diablo 2. Is it a waste of my time? Yes. Is it addicting? YES.

I don't "hide" games so that other people wont see it but every friend I have that plays video games, thinks Dreamfall and the longest journey is BS. I also used to play harry potter and I still love the rayman series.
I have the same addiction to these blasted point-o-clicks, though I'm freely admitting that they're BS and that I'm using an online walkthru the whole time just to save myself a few weeks of random clicking. But the stories are just so engaging, I can't help my beefy self.

Let me also admit to Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Thoroughly broken game, but fantastic writing and voice acting. The hours I've wasted playing through all the character classes just to see the same ending over and over again...jeez. But no doubt I'll do it again.

Oh, and way back in the day (1996), Sierra's Lord of the Realms II. There are 100+ hours of my young life I can never get back. I even used to make my own custom .wavs for it.

LOL. Unprotected .wavs as game files. What an age it was.

Lost Kingdoms

My housemate and I used to play a lot of Halo online, then he'd play games like Mortal Combat: Armageddon and Dead Rising and shit like that, and I'd go back to my room where my Wii is and put in the old gamecube game and would love it.
Omg I do the same thing...

In a conversation with another gamer, I would neglect saying that I very nearly unlocked every fucking ability for every fucking dressphere in Final Fantasy X-2.
It seemed like a good idea at the time. I just couldn't stop.

I actually hide a lot, since only two of my friends are gamers, but my top three skeletons-in-the-closet's are:

- Kingdom Hearts 2: Yeah yeah, some like it and some despise it, but I still cry when Roxas dissapears in the beginning.

- Final Fantasy X-2: I get funny stares when I use the term 'disaterrific' in public.

- Rayman Series: I've had to explain to my friends about 10,000 times why Rayman's hands and feet weren't attached to his body, so I just stopped playing it when I arranged weekly get-togethers.

Oh, and Animal Crossing. The cutesy, Sim-like gameplay is just so adorable that it's irresistable. ^__^'

To be completely honest, I'm a little saddened that I see some relatively good games listed in here, Odin sphere being among them. (Really most Nippon Ichi games are rather girly but they're nearly all good as well.)

How am I supposed to make fun of someone if they don't mention games like Crystal Pony tales, Bloody Roar, or Doki Doki Majou Shinpan [http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/13403]?

Ah well. "Rhapsody" is probably my little dark secret, as it is possibly one of the girliest games ever envisioned by man. (Assuming it was envisioned by man.) Even though it's horribly outdated, I can't get rid of it though as it's somewhat of a classic and hard to find item.

Ring of Red for the PS2. I may have been ridiculed for enjoying turn based mecha combat but damnit, there's no greater feeling than knowing that you're opponent will be dead in two moves or less.

I loved "Ring Of Red", too. At the moment it is the Japanese PS3 game "My Summer Holiday" ("No Boku" something or other). I told the guys at work about that one. I regret that now.

Mine would have to be Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure for the PSP. Don't get me wrong now, the game is really good, but the graphics and the presentation are so childish, everything looks like it came out of discovery kids or something. But underneath all that cuteness is a very deep and enjoyable action RPG with awesome pacing and a compelling enough storyline. I just love it. I also have a weakness for ANY dungeon crawler, no matter how bad it is (and I've played BAD ones) I'll play 'em 'till I beat'em.
I bought it at gamestop, beat it in ~5 days, and returned it. Pretty good game though but very childish

M-M-M-MONSTER POST.

Anyway, my little "dark secret" would probably be LEGO Creator. Absolutely loved that game - best sandbox game ever. The expansion packs were alright too.
