Shadow of Rome.

What can I say? I just have so many fun memories of decapitating people left right and centre, whacking enemies over the head with severed arms and finding time amongst the chaos to nibble on some cheese.
I don`t think this one is awful. It`s one of the most underrated ps2 games. I even liked the storyparts where you play historic Rayden. Gladiators, sneaking missions, arena fights, horse races, bossfights, throwing enemy heads and limbs into the audience. I wish i could replay it now.

Legendary is a clear one for me, it was awful and yet I found the story strangely compelling in a "its so awful and over the top" kind of way

PC versions of Pregoblet Harry Potter games were always different from the PS2/GC/XBOX versions. As in, different mechanics, design, levels, EVERYTHING. First one was especially crap, yet I remember them all quite fondly as games that defined my childhood. Chamber was quite competent, and Azkaban wasn't half bad, too.
I remember replaying the chamber of secrets at least 5 times (short game, but I got my money's worth)

Overblood. Unresponsive controls, little to no combat. I remember it fondly because it's an 8 hr mystery movie, complete with the requisite plot twists.

Call me crazy but.......Sonic the Hedgehog 2006.

1#-I felt drawn in to the really horrible graphics of the characters. Especially how Eggman looked!

2#-Mephiles the Dark.......coolest...villain...EVER!

Ghostbusters on the Master System. The first part of the game I liked and kept coming back for, but I have no idea why. Seriously, if it were described to me now and I'd never played it, I wouldn't give it a second thought. The second part is just fake difficulty to the point of being absurd, and is deserving of any scorn directed at it no matter how harsh. The third part I never got past, but from what I've seen is just your average Nintendo Hard boss fight, nothing in particular wrong with it, but it's short. I think. Not sure if an ending could be made for it that would be satisfying.

I used to have a StarWars fighting game on the old playstation 1. (do not underestimate the power of the PLAYSTATION!). It was like tekken, but with star wars characters. And it kicked some major ass.
I believe that was known as Star Wars Masters of Teräs Käsi.

I recall a game on the PS1 known as Rosco McQueen. You play as this firefighter saving people while keeping these robots from setting things on fire. If you didn't control the fires before the temperture gets too high then the building "blows up". Cartoon styled by the way. Had a robot helper too that reminds you of stuff.

WCW vs The World was terribly terrible, but I played it a lot as a wee lad for reasons I still don't understand. The same with WCW Thunder, that one I remember having a few interesting secret characters like an ant and some other oddities.

WCW vs. The World wasn't great, but it laid a solid foundation for future games to build on. Without it, there wouldn't have been great games like WCW Revenge, WrestleMania 2000, or No Mercy.

Thunder had a unique gimmick that I really loved at the time: the ability to alter a character's faction, and change their outfit as well. Jericho in the nWo? Sure. DDP a Horseman? Why not? That alone made the (admittedly awful) gameplay worthwhile.

I don't know why but I have fond memories of Blinx the time sweeper. I think this may be illegal in a few countries.

Final Fantasy 13 is an awful game in my view. Badly told, badlt written story, coupled with boring gameplay was its demise. However, it had charm in its brilliant graphics, good art direction and the confidence with which it told its bad story, and it was enough for me to tolerate the game until this one battle close to the end which finally broke me and made me say "fuck it, this game is not good enough to warrant this kind of effort.

The Mark of Kri. Oh god, that game was immensely fun when I was a kid. I loved the ending boss, which was killed by the character throwing an axe through the dude's head while he was doing his evil dude speech.

Istaria. Shitty game, GREAT IDEAS. Breaks your heart to see such great concepts wasted...
I was so hyped for Horizons, but by the time it actually neared release, I couldn't be bothered to care anymore. All the things that made it unique and special seemed to end up on the cutting room floor.

N3: Ninety Nine Nights.
A game where you could massacre an entire army and could unlock more characters as you did so. The problem came from how inept the army following you were, how unbeleivably bad the voiceacting was, and the difficulty curve that flew straight up past freakin' Jupiter during the last level.
Cool thing about it: It is a fantasy game with no elves and goblins as a sentient race. They were evil, sure, but they were as smart as the people they were fighting. Then again, I guess that's not saying much considering how thick they were during battle.

I have The Crystal Key sitting on my shelf. I remember it giving me much pleasure and even more absolute terror as a kid, even though I'm fairly sure in retrospect that it was pretty horrible.

Dark Messiah Might and Magic. The plot is awful, the gameplay is nothing special, the characters are unlikeable, the graphics are mediocre for their time, the art design is uninspired, and the levels aren't that special either.

But god dammit, it is so damn funny to kick guys off cliffs and into fires and spike traps and whatnot.
