Final Fantasy XIII. I've hated the Final Fantasies made by Squeenix, but even though I've heard nothing but bad things about XIII, and I know it's probably bad from playing their others, I still want to play it. Not sure why. It looks different to XI and XII, and Squeenix's shitty remakes of the originals, I guess. But I guess if I ever do I can get these friggin' hopeful thoughts out of my head.
You know they made XI when they were still Squaresoft.
Eh? My copy says Square Enix.

Lair. I can't understand just why I like playing this game. The controls are horrible, even with the analog support, the graphics are crumbly and poorly executed, and the missions are enfuriatingly difficult at times, but there's just something so wonderful about swooping around as a giant dragon that I enjoy immensely.

As much as I'm probably going to regret this, I really do want to play Duke Nukem Forever some day. I just want to see how it turned out.

Vanquish is fantastic. One of the most underrated games this gen.

OT: Naughty Bear, I know its terrible but it looks interesting to say the least.

It came out in Japan in 2002 when they were still Squaresoft. It came out in the US in 2004, after the merger in 2003 that created Square Enix.

shshshs Vanquish has the best controls combat system in any 3rd person shooter i have ever played. the only thing bad about that game is that the story is a bit short and the last challenge is stupid hard. if you are interested in i definitely recommend at least renting it.

Duke Nukem Forever,
I know it's not very good, but I want to play ti just for the archaeological aspect of playing it because it's done.
Also my PC can run it, and it's 10 bucks on steam right now.

BlazBlue.

Although it's not bad, I just get annoyed when ever they shout things out because it's so loud and completely throws me out of the experience.

Flippin' Hazama! Quit saying you're going to give up every time a light breeze brushes your shoulder! If your want to give up, just f***ing give up!!

Also, I have recently been enjoying (if one could put it that way) The You Testament. I've actually made it my goal to use the satanic fireball ability to murder the entire population of the game.
I have never heard of this and you have intrigued me. To youtube! (and failing that wikipedia) :p

You can find the first part of a really good semi-LP here:

http://chipandironicus.com/games/testament/1.html

The game isn't merely a train wreck. It's two trains colliding at the speed of sound, creating a shockwave that simulataneously makes every puppy on Earth cry and reelects Hitler as chancellor of Germany.

And yet it's absolutely hilarious.

I have always wanted to play Two Worlds or Vampire Rain, for some reason. I used to hear horror stories about those games all the time, so I rather want to see if they are as bad as everyone says.

Also, OP, Vanquish is actually pretty decent. It looks a bit repetitive, but it has some fun combat (once you get used to it, that is).

Lolz me and my friends got Two Worlds to see how bad it was...It...is...BAD. Lolz but it is one of those games that is so bad its fun :p

-I think that X-Men: Destiny game had a really cool concept and would love to get it.

I played the demos to all my picks and was underwhelmed. But I saw potential, the possibility of mindless fun. That's why I'm still interested in playing them, but the bad reviews and word-of-mouth have kept me away. That and I'm not paying $20 for a game I may not like, $10 maybe, but not much more.

PS. I might actually get Vanquish now that so many people have said it's not that bad. The review on this site helped too.

I'm still a bit tempted by Damnation (steampunk!) and Kane & Lynch 2 (merciless and often pointless killing!), though the more opinions I hear the more disinclined I feel, despite them being almost exactly the same.
+1 For Damnation. That game sounded so good when the first bits of information were coming out.

D&D Daggerfall - everything is telling me it sucks...but my love for 4th Edition makes me want to try it out. One of these days I'll buy it dirt cheap off steam and be disappointed with all my other D&D nerds.

I mean D&D characters without racial or power choices? They totally nailed what players want, right?
This guy meant Daggerdale. Daggerfall was an Elder Scrolls game, and it was the shit.

Speaking of bad D&D games, I've always wanted to play the Pool of Radiance reboot. It looks exactly like Baldur's Gate...but shitty.

People say Vanquish is bad? Huh....Crazy internets.

OT:I'd love to play Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) just to see the laughable abomination of gaming history for myself.
That and E.T for the Atari 2600. No game can be THAT bad can it?

Dead Space 2.

Now I'm sure DS2 is a fine game but I wasn't crazy about the first game. You'd think I'd be done with the series but I still have this great urge to try the second for some odd reason.
