Games you liked but quit playing due to an (arguably) stupid problem.

fallout 3. i had beaten literally 75% of the game(including every DLC) and then my brother clogged up the xbox with all his saves so i couldn't see the difference between my save files and his. before i knew 24 hours of gameplay were all GONE in one effort to clean up my hardrive. after that i just did not feel like doing the effort to re-do all the DLC's.

Deus Ex Human Revolution, I loved that game, but I was playing a non-kill character on the hardest difficulty and I have spent like half an hour trying to take down the third boss (naked muscle man guy), desperately scavenging for weapons, plugging him with the stupid tranq rifle which I hate. He. Just. Won't. Die.

MAG, because SVER had so damn many people that matches were never a challenge. Shame though, since I loved that game.

I stopped playing metroid other M and returned it. The cutscences, the story, the voice acting. I could not stand one more second of it.

Pretty sure that does not count. That wasn't an issue with the game.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution seems cool, but it bother me that I can't change the gamepad configuration. All I need to do is to swap the sprint button and the grenade button, but the lazy developers thought one config was good enough for everyone.

And before people say "L2P not every game should have controls like Call of Duty", I favor the right-handed buttons because I have an injury in my left. In games like Skyrim with fully customizable controls it's no problem, but in lesser games I often give up due to this simple issue.

Bad UI, overencumberment, plot moves too slowly and I don't have the time to wait 3 hours for another battle, something about the look or voices seems off.

That was deliberate. I mean come on, nobody sounds like this:

Halo I liked 3 and ODST was passable if a little annoying because I had to play through twice because of someone screwing with the memory but someone I knew watched Arby n the Chef and I hate that series with a passion and since they can't stop parroting all his lines like a brain damaged child I got sick of halo. So yes someone actually made me hate a game because they were quoting a show about the game.

That's the only reason I kept playing the game!
I just wanted to hear more hilariously bad acting it made the game so much more fun for me.

I stopped playing KOTOR 2 because I got to a point where I liked 3 characters too much, but could only have 2 on my team! It annoyed me so much that I had to leave the 3rd behind that I stopped playing!

The same thing happens to me in Dragon Age... I hate dissapointing any character! I want to be good friends with them all! In real life I am friends with nearly everyone I meet, so why can't I do that in game without someone whining that they have seen me with someone else? :(

Bioshock 2 kept crashing at the last half of Fontaine Futuristics where I'm looking for ADAM-infused plants to lure Gil out. That kind of pissed me off. That, and the fact that I couldn't even kill Sofia myself. Apparently, to get some douchebags killed, you have to be one yourself. :/

Fallout 3, I when you learn that you need something to purify the ocean of radioactive material. RADIATION DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT. It's been 200 years, so most of the extremely dangerous radioactive materials will be in very small amount, it's the GODDAMNED OCEAN, dropping every atomic weapon would barely affect the radioactivity of one of the great lakes, let alone the fucking ocean. And it's set on earth, so it's not like Bethesda has the excuse of saying it's in another universe. Not to mention if they wanted to 'purify' the water, all they needed to do was create a proper fucking filter.

God I hated that so much. Companies need to do their goddamned research if they want to set a game on earth.
I've heard of people complaining about soda dehydrating you in Fallout: New Vegas. What's your stance on that?

Well Bethesda has never been good with writing just making a large place with a lot of padding. A lot of people also have a problem with Little Lamplight for not making any sense as well.
You would think they would at least try basing society there on Lord of the Flies or something.

Considering I've gone several months drinking nothing but soda, I found it to be bullshit. Hell, water it down and add a bit of salt, and you have pedialite!

OT: The Witcher. The animations were just god awful during conversations. It annoyed the hell out of me.

It bugs me, but you can mod it out on PC, and it's not central to the plot. The whole water purification thing is central to the plot is.

You can hack a turret to kill him for you near that point as I remeber my friend did that.
Oh really? I was unaware of this, though I'd pretty much forgotten you could reprogramme turrets, since I was trying to avoid killing people and I didn't realise you could use them against bosses.
