GTA: San Andreas. After the extreme epicness that was Vice City they made a "gangsta" game...there is absolutely nothing that can make that game any worse, or a bigger disappointment.
GTA: San Andreas was the only GTA game I liked, but I hate GTA IV that game was absolute shit.

You do know that Team Fortress has Team in its name for a reason.
TF2 is no standard multiplayer game. It is the epitome of multiplayer games, better than COD and quite frankly I pity you for picking up the nerfed Xbox version. The best thing about it is the constant support by Valve, making it better for free.

Sonic Unleashed. I knew it was going to be bad, I had heard the reviwes, but GOOD LORD, I didn't know a game could get quite THAT bad.

Two Worlds.

The next Oblivion they said.
Beautiful Graphics they said.
Immersive Story they said.

£50 on the collectors edition later and a brief stint with single player and the laughably lag full multiplayer and I was left with a game so awful, so utterly bad, so miserably annoying, so incredibly dismal that walking through the very depths of hell seemed like a nice alternative to playing five minutes of that hideous excuse for a "game"

Yes, I guess you could say I LOATHE, not just dislike, Two Worlds.

Final Fantasy VII

By far the worst game in the series. Bland no personality characters, horrible graphics (seriously games made before it looked far better, normally I don't care about graphics but when the characters look as deformed as they did in VII I draw the line) terrible plot, broken battle system, awful antagonist, mediocre music (I've come to expect masterpieces from Final Fantasy games and this game did not deliver) and the very worst part: The fans.

Lunar:Dragon Song

I despise that game.
I hate that game.

It was an abomination the not only the JRPG genre, but to the Lunar series.
I haven't even played that game and I've grown to hate it.

On topic: Haze. I dislike it because it was mediocre at best. I hate it because it showed so much promise and was being developed by the guys behind Timesplitters. Loading it up for the first time was like a swift kick to the nuts.
Whatever you do DONT play it.
Once its in your head, you can never get it out.....

The Final Fantasy series. *hides*

And I hate to say it, but every JRPG I have ever watched or played. Bad writing and bad characterization makes this writer NERD RAEG.

Luckily, I've never spent money on any of them and only ever borrowed other people's games.

Burnout Legends DS. I just couldn't get that last car! And it was a really bad game, but THAT ONE CAR! It required 30 takedowns in one event, and I regularly got to 29 before losing.

Torchlight... Realised the only way to actually make it difficult it to use the mouse with your tongue and a trebuchet to fire at your keyboard for any keyhits.

I'm a big fan of JRPGs, and I've never found one I didn't like...until I bought Lunar: Dragon Song, for ten bucks on a bargain games rack. This is a game where you lose health if you run on the world map and have to choose between fight for items mode and fight for experience mode. Also I only got far enough to get three characters in my party, and the two I had from the start were at, I think, level ten, and the new girl was at level one, and there was no way to get her to catch up.

Now why do I loathe it? Because while trying new things is always a good idea, it's also a good idea to ask gamers if they like it. If they play tested this game I'm sure the testers would have mentioned these things ideas sucked, and made the game not just annoying, but irritating. And considering it's part of, what I later discovered to be, a major JRPG franchise, it makes me loathe it even more. Seriously, it's fucking terrible.

Leaisure Suit Larry: Box Office box.

Never before have I been just disgusted by game. From gameplay so broken it felt like the controller was made out of paste, so much time is spent in the same three fetch quests (a single object, several objects, timed, or some varatition of all three) that the GAME IT SELF takes a crack at it, humor so bad (and potty filled) it makes the two black rapping robots from Transformers 2 look like Charle Chaplin, and an Art style that made the women so ugly my happy sack retracted into body where my stomach was.

Really, I played some really BAD games in my day, but never have I felt so dirty playing a game.

Any modern warfare game. I hate them with a passion, think they ruined the Call of Duty series but can't stop playing them dammit.

I also already hate the unreleased Medal of Honour for the same reason but I bet I'll still buy and enjoy it.

None.

I do not understand how it is possible. If a game is bad you stop playing it, if you continue to play it to the extent that you end up genuinely despising it then you are a masochist or have something wrong with you.

It's not like crappy radio music where you might have to experience it against your will (family members, shops etc.), so there really is no valid reason for despising a game.

Not to mention that there are very few games without any redeeming qualities. Especially well known ones.
I'll agree with this, but there have been a few instances where I have had no choice and been roped into playing multiplayer games with my brothers etc. But it hasn't made me hate a game, just dislike it.

Where the bots were as good as people and I only every played any UT game for the bots. Because of how good it was in 1999 I tend to expect any multiplayer game to include at least half good bots.

Lollerskates, for two reasons.

1. You're missing out, my friend.
2. Most hilariously stupid reason I ever read.
Look at my name then realize I have every UT game and only ever play against bots.
