I don't really have any that I LOATHE. I have a few games I started and never continued because of how bad I was or how much I didn't enjoy the first few levels (Metal Gear Twin Snakes, Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass) or games that I was so incredibly dissapointed in despite the fact that I played them to the end just so I could say I beat them (Star Fox Adventures, Metriod Prime 2)

COD6, Resistance 2, God of War 3, The Uncharted series. Call Of Duty just because they turned my favorite multiplayer experience of all time into a gimmick filled dumbed down turd. The last three largely because they're so overrated. Resistance 2 bored me to death after the first level. God of War should have just been a film or something. I hate Drake with every fiber of my being. I would say that should have been a film too but it would have blown.

I bougth FF13 and played it for about 2 hours and took it back. That game just annoys me to no end. The graphics look good but the story and the voice acting suck. I haven't liked a FF game since FF3 for the SNES...unless you count the DS version of FFIV. I'm starting to hate Bad Company 2 also.

Star Ocean 3. I had hope upon hope - and then got to plot twist...then it was just finishing for the sake of saying I did. That and because I was so far in to it by then. Didn't bother to play 4 but I'm sure I loathe it as well.

But...It's a Multiplayer game! I mean, you're entitled to your opinion and all, but that's like hating a car for not being a toaster. Sure, you could sit around all day angrily shoving bread into your glove compartment, or you could BUY A DAMN TOASTER! I mean how do you...why...there's...

Ahhh, forget about it my brain just exploded from nonsense overload.

OT: I'd have to go with Fable, not because it's a bad game, but because Peter Molenuex gets away with filthy, filthy lies while the gaming press pass off his blatant deceptions as part of a "quirky character trait". Damn you and your broken promises Peter!
Like in my previous post look at UT. I love the series because of it's bots. Sure TF is a multiplayer game, so was UT but the developers of UT also made some of the smartest AI controlled characters in existance at the time (1999). If UT could do it back then why couldn't TF2 do it?

TF2 doesn't have single player on any console or PC.
I heard the PC version had spawnable bots.
Look at my name then realize I have every UT game and only ever play against bots.
even nerds housed in their parent's basement have the internet to socialize with. buying a multiplayer only game thinking it has singleplayer is probably the dumbest thing i've heard. either don't buy multiplayer games and quit your whining, buy multiplayer games and keep it to yourself.

there has to be a limit to human stupidity, but apparently there isn't. don't quote einstein on this because he wasn't the first to say this. back off.
For the record TF2 was just a minor part of the Orange Box which I got primarily for Half Life 2 and it's episodes. Then I played Portal and loved it. TF2 was the last thing I tried and when I realized there weren't even bots in it I quit it. Also read my response to the other quote in this post.

Bad Company 2 is on my shitlist.
I'm going to assume that Modern Warfare 2 is on your golden list, then. (Seeing as how they're pretty much complete opposites, gameplay-wise).

For that matter, MW2 is on my "shitlist" and BC2 is on my "golden list".
It's not on my Golden List, but I do like the MW2 single-player campaign considerably better than the one in BBC2. I don't do much multiplayer, so I wouldn't know even if it is better in that respect (not to hate or anything, I genuinely don't know).
Heh. What a coincidence. I hated the MW2 single player and thought the BFBC2 one was decent.

I think were polar opposites or something.
Just online I hope!

Let us agree to disagree, no?

PoP: Warrior Within - a bad stain on the franchise. That's pretty much the only one i started up, played for 10 minutes and was like "OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FUCK THIS SHIT". Probably cause i played it later, when the combat didn't feel that revolutionary and right after Sands of Time expecting the great storytelling and dialogue from there.

Another might be Max Payne 3: Jungle Shit.

It had potential, but there were so many plotholes. My god, it's like David Cage was so sure of himself he decided not to hire a story editor.

I'm not sure how to define "loathe". Some games I intensely dislike because of high expectations and subsequent deep disappointment (Oblivion, NWN2 and Spore goes here). Some games I hate because they represent everything wrong with games for me personally (Pretty much any MMO, chief among them WoW). Some games disgust me because of their staggering lack of innovation (a horde of FPS's, Dead Space comes to mind). Are these really bad games deserving of my loathing? No. Applying some standard of "loathing" more objective than what I'd normally use, I'm not sure there are any games I outright loathe; the games that are bad enough to deserve my hate also often provide unintentional comedy or at least ---

I got it! I LOATHE Nintendogs. Why? Because it's the third most sold videogame of all time, regardless of platform. And that's bull. I mean, it's bad enough that the #1 and #2 spots are Wii Play and Wii Fit, respectively, but Nintendogs sold over 22 million copies? Really? In a world where Black Isle and Troika went out of business?

Also read my response to the other quote in this post.[/quote]The reason TF2 does not have bots, is because it is simply the wrong type of multiplayer game for it. All the different classes encourage teamwork, and you cannot do teamwork with bots who do not understand what the hell you mean. Sure, UT does have very good bots, or so I've heard, but put them in the TF2 environment and it all goes to shit because you are quite simply not getting the proper experience. Quite simply, TF2 literally cannot be played properly if you intend to use bots which is why Valve didn't put them in.

You say you don't play multiplayer games? Well, my friend, you have bought probably one of the best online FPS games ever made and if you refuse to play it because of a lack of bots then I so very pity you.

Just thought I'd mention that while the PC version doesn't have bots, you really will get the better experience if you pick TF2 up again for PC. The community is generally better, the free updates come flowing in, and you probably don't have Xbox Live judging how you've proclaimed how you don't play multiplayer games.

World Of Warcraft, not because it's a bad game, no! It's because i have lost too many close friend to it.
Also BFBC 2 singleplayer campaing, it's dull, repetive, and simply boring. Multiplayer is quite sweet though.

WoW, mostly because it seems whenever people tell me about it, I get less interested. Perhaps its just because they started to screw up the Mythology so much >.>

Red Faction Guerrilla I jumped away from, didn't quite hit me well enough...

Dante's Inferno, I'm surprised I lasted as long as I did. Controls? Okay. Scenery? Okay. Character's appearance, Monster's stats and overall weapon? Fucking loathe it all. Didn't even like the point to how Dante got the weapon. Thought it was silly x.x

Final Fantasy XII.
I really, really, REALLY fucking loathe that game.
I jumped and stepped on my copy for a whole minute when me and some friends were getting wasted a couple of years ago.

Unfortunately, it survived.

The newer Crash Bandicoot games. I loathe them, not just because they're bad games, but because from a viewpoint of the industry, they are actually COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE!
