I started a thread a while ago along a similar theme: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.60909?page=1 Bit of a shameless bump there

I'd say most recently would probably be Fallout 3.
Oh, I'm sorry I didn't see it when I searched :(
Haha hey don't worry bout it, I wasn't being serious. I wouldn't expect you to find a thread that has a completely different name that was created about half a year ago.

Persona 4. I got it over winter break and the first day I got it I played it from 9 p.m to 6:30 a.m. Then every day afterward when I wasn't out I played the game to about three in the morning. I racked up about 66 hours over the two week break.

haha thats a funny story actually... but always seems i lose more sleep over guitar hero. world of warcraft is always going to be a close 2nd though. and the quote 'its like a 2nd job' always kind of stuck with me, as far as warcraft is concerned anyways.

The original Monster Hunter for Ps2. I remember spending countless nights playing that with my fellow MH'ers. I miss playing that game with them :(

COD:4, FF games, and anything im a fan of on the first day i get it i general. Every time to date ive got a new console ive spent the night on it buti suppose that doesnt count. FEAR deprived me of sleep, but that was only because i refused to play that game in the day :p

Football Manager. ...Just one more game. You know you've been on it too long when the 16yr old you bought when you started playing has just been sold for 50 million.

I think it's safe to say anyone who plays games has lost major sleep to at LEAST one game. For me it's many.

Recently: Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead , Mass Effect, Dead Space, Disgaea 3

Past: Disgaea, Final Fantasy Tactics,Phantasy Star IV

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4

Such a loooooooooooooong game but so addicting! It's complicated: I don't want to wait to finish the game but the often sluggish pacing is keeping me from plowing through without skipping over the social and extracurricular aspects. Damn it, why does it have to be so fudge LONG?

Mount and Blade is probably the worst, as there isn't a real solid goal to work for, its just battle after battle.

Pokémon red, blue, silver, gold or yellow.

spent ages trying to get the Mew teleport/Fly glitch to work....and to get the other one (no name or something, the one from Cinnabar island) to appear. Trying to catch 'em all, aka getting several of certain types for between games trades, getting the random encounters from Suicune.
The list really does go on :]
Oh and trying to get every feature on FF7; including Aeris' lvl 4 limit break and getting the Golden Saucer date with each possible Character [Yuffie, Aeris, Tifa and Barret]

-_-'

XIII multiplayer with friends and bots and beer :D

Worms 2 ;)

any LOZ except PH - which did the opposite. Put me to sleep and I had to charge my DS again >:0

Army Men: Land Sea and Air in No Mans Land :D

Sonic 2

Super Mario Brothers

Super Mario Land

Super Mario 64

Super Mario anything

Devil May Cry

and the general insomnia provoked by the innumerable amounts of unfathomable fears you get for playing the first Condemned all night.

but mostly pokémon ^^,

Agreed. Although the mods for it make it even better. (I'm looking at you, Star Wars mod).

Gotta be Diablo 2 for me. I'm surprised no-one else has mentioned it yet. The game has no end point, you can play for an eternity trying to reach that level 99 character and if you ever do manage it you just start another different character and try it all over again. My relationship with my wife has sucked since I got this game a few years ago and despite temporarily kicking the habbit several times by uninstalling the game in a sudden moment of monumental willpower, I always come apologetically back to it eventually.

Can you say addicted?

I can rack up more hours per week on D2 than I do at work!

Fallout 3: As soon as I talk to this guy and finish the quest, I'l-wait, what this place? Just a quick look and I'll keep going.

Fable 2: I just need about 764,845 more gold, then I can buy Fairfax Castle.

Gears of War 2: Me and my friends just LOVE Horde mode, even if we don't play seriously.

Left 4 Dead: Zombie-killing is always more important than sleep.
