I did actually lose quite a bit of sleep over Morrowind GotY. Must, increase, rank, in Tellevani House, must, get, wizard's, tower.... BTW, I played as a Bard.

Left 4 Dead recently. At the end of last year I decided to play through Final Fantasy VII and actually finish it... Bad choice.
"Just... one... more... level."
I managed to beat the first disc fairly quickly though.

Well, there's Morrowind for sure. I've got this weird gap in my memory about a month large where I can't really remember anything except that I played Morrowind. A lot.

This also happens whenever I finally get to play a game that I have been anticipating, like, FOREVER. For example, I recently got a working PSX emulator which was extremely exciting because I've always been a ridiculously loyal Nintendo fanboy, and have therefore missed out on a ton of good games for the PlayStations. So I've recently been spending every waking hour catching up on the classics. Symphony of the Night, Final Fantasy 7-9, Xenogears, the list goes on.

I think the games that sucked the most time out of me would be the Total War franchise, I played those right the way up to Medieval 2, and god, the hours would just fly, but there was nothing more satisfying than the feeling that you get when you take a continent :D. Oh and Battlefield 2, I spent silly time playing that game. And I'll jump in the boat and say Fallout 3 too, a good amount of my christmas went on that one ;).

A recent example of a game I've sacrificed precious sleep for is Team Fortress 2. I'd just be playing it for a bit, then take a look at the clock and notice it's suddenly somehow already Fracking Late o'clock. Well, just one more round, my team needs me and I still gotta get revenge on that guy...

Sonic has been my latest cause of loss of sleep. I've been playing all the good games on my Xbox and I've completed all of them except the first, two of them with all the Chaos Emeralds. I forgot how much I love the games...

Oh, and Silent Hill. Not because I'm playing the games, I remember all the scariest parts and sounds and they keep me awake clutching my koala teddy... :S

Well apart from the six month hole in my life left by Champ Manager, the nagging diablo 2 addiction, the need to finish all the GTA and FF games 100% (another year and six months), a serious Tekken habit, and, for some reason, Bubble Bobble nothing much.

Oh and when I was in the Merchant Navy, Rome Totalwar for about six hours. Every. Single. Day.

EVE Online and most turn-based RTSes (and Dawn of War) tend to do that to me. Also Dwarf Fortress, oddly enough...

Persona 4 Lately, GoW 2 Multiplayer if I'm doing well, and latency holds up, and the moon aligns perfectly so I don't play a bunch of premades with a group of morons who can't aim.

Red Orchestra, Soldiers: Heroes of WWII and any of the Blitzkrieg engine games I have. They're the biggest culprits for me losing sleep, even after I've stopped and decided to go to bed.
Really? Red Orchestra? I'm amazed somebody else loves this game as much as I do.

Of late, if I am playing a game at all, I should probably be sleeping instead. My wife's Animal Crossing sessions often tie up the television until she retires for the night.

If you want specific examples, I tend to wander about a Prince of Persia game longer than I should. My Guild Wars sessions also leave me with less sleep.

Well, I thought someone had set the time in my house - cause the hours had flewn like sparrows on kaffein.

Left 4 Dead :)
