Doe's King's Field (from software's forerunner to demons souls) and its sequels count?

People who've played usually like it, but most people say they're just inferior compared to elder scrolls games.

Bubsy I guess? Apparently it is thought by the vast majority to be one of the worst 2-D platformers of the SNES days? I had no clue till last year. I don't know the game plays just fine to me.

The Urbz. I don't even like Sims games, but for some reason I liked the Urbz a lot. Too bad for me. It was not well-received and will likely never get a sequel.

Any of them. Most of the folks on forums hate these game for whatever silly reasons, but I love 'em all.

MGS4
My favorite in the series. Yes, FAVORITE IN THE SERIES.

Alpha Protocol
Despite being a shoddy, poorly made, buggy, miserable piece of shit, I love this game. I hate the company that made it (Obsidian. @#$% those guys,) because they made it so poorly, but I can't help but enjoy the game. I honestly hope there's a sequel.

Shadow the Hedgehog - Introducing guns was definitely an awkward step sideways, but it was a fun game nonetheless and I enjoyed it.

Sonic Heroes - Everyone likes to bash on Sonic Heroes, but I had fun playing this game.

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) - It'll always elude me why people hate this game with such fury that burns bright as a thousand suns. Other than framerate drops, I thought this game was awesome. It was like Sonic Adventure, which I also loved. Honestly I wish they'd make more "open-world" Sonic games. Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic(2006) are easily my top three of all the Sonic games.

White Knight Chronicles - Okay, I don't know about hate, but I definitely see no love for this game. I absolutely loved White Knight Chronicles. I've heard some complaints that it was absolutely slow, but that's about it. Which is nulled basically because of the way White Knight Chronicles remasters the original with graphical and mechanical updates. Going from WKC to WKCII feels more like going from Disc1 to Disc2, rather than from prequel to sequel and I think it was done brilliantly. Also, I'm going to spare you my argument why Avatar is a brilliantly executed character and why I wish to see more characters like him/her.

Devil May Cry 4 - Dear lord the hate I've seen for this game. I don't honestly think it deserves the ire that people have raised for this game. Now, if someone was to say it was the weakest in the series, then sure I'd agree. But it's definitely not as bad as people shout out.

Final Fantasy X-2. Sometimes, I just want to play a game that has turn-based combat, dress-up, and sidequests that play out like Saturday Morning Cartoons.

Dynasty Warriors. Any of them.

I LOVE Dynasty Warriors and all it's associated titles (Samurai Warriors, Gundam, ect). I love the hack 'n slash. Jim Sterling did a Jimquisition about it being the Citizen Kane of gaming, and I'm inclined to agree.

I just... love to unwind, ya know? Dynasty Warriors is just tons of fun to me. The Gundam ones I like even better, both mechanically, and because I'm a Gundam fanboy.

Also, the Darkness. It's based on my favorite comic book series, is nothing like the comics, was hated by all but a few critics, and I still own a copy to this day.

Captcha: White Elephant

I prefer White Rabbit, myself.

Dragon Age 2.

I don't care if it's the Twilight of the video gaming world, I love it.

Shit, I could look at my collection and just start naming things (By "Everyone", I assume you are talking about the vocal group on The Escapist since every one of these games sold about a zillion copies) :)

Dragon Age 2

The obvious two, Dragon Age 2, and Fallout 3. Good games that rabid fans were far too judgmental about.

I wouldn't say loved, but i enjoyed FFX-2 and DA2 overall, though i can agree on them both being pretty flawed
Wow, I was starting to feel like I was the only person in the world who loved Dragon Age 2. I actually just finished it again yesterday. We should start a support group :)

I hate that games story, but mechanically speaking, it's a pretty sound Final Fantasy title. The dress spheres are just honest about everything that's in RPGs. See that guy wearing a white robe? He's obviously some kind of mage for healing. Or that guy with the big sword? Clearly a fighter.

A guy I worked with hated on the game simply for it's dress-spheres. He played World of Warcraft, so I blew his mind when I told him that changing his gear in WoW changed his powers, just like in FFX-2. So he needed to picture his Tauren being all sparkly and put against back lighting and changing from his PvP gear into his raiding gear.

the PS3 version of skyrim - It had bugs but it was nowhere as bad as people were making it out to be - particularly the lag issue.

I won't say it didnt lag at all it did occasionally, but for me it only ever lagged after hours of gameplay, and when it did, I just reset the game. and it was fine. absolutely fine.

I'm down.

So yeah, Dragon Age 2. Again. I love the story and the characters, don't really care much about the gameplay. As for others... I try not to pay attention to what's popular or not, so the number is probably larger than I realize. For instance, I wasn't aware that there was such a burning hatred of Fallout 3. So there's that too.

I am aware of the hate for Crysis 2. I don't care how good the first one was, I had so much more fun with C2 than almost all other FPS's I have ever played.

Also, I wasn't that upset with ME3's ending. Confused, but not upset. Then the extended cut was released and I wasn't confused anymore. So yeah.

Also, I hope you guys don't mind if I go and get my fireproof body armor. Just in case.

Alone in the Dark 5. Maybe I just liked the fire physics. Not sure what else there is to like about it. xD

I don't actually have the kind of computer that can run it, but I have it, I played it once on low settings just to try it out; slowly piecing everything together about the RPG elements of it I certainly enjoyed so far, in fact, any game that makes me go 'buuuhwhatnow?' is a point in it's favour :D

I'll just pick a couple games that I haven't been able to get friends excited about, despite advertising them.
