I loved Spider-Man Web of Shadows. Yeah it was repetitive, but so is pretty much every game out there now. That and the Legends of Wrestling series of games, my only problem with is using the moves of the top guys (at the time) finishers. Didn't think I'd ever see Bruno Sammartino doing a huracanrana.

Stubbs the Zombie - Loved it, it didn't get the attention it deserved and after all this time I am still waiting for a sequel.

Thief: The dark project - More people need to play it. :(

Castlevaina: Lament of Innocence
Final Fantasy X-2 (seriously, that game did not deserve the hate it got)

Lament of Innocence was just great. If lords of shadow is half as good as LoI I'll be a happy happy man.

I'm a broken record: People really need to check out Penumbra. For serious.
Great game, you might also want to check out a game called Amnesia. It looks quite similar.

Yeah, I should really play it some day, I've only played the demo for the first one in the series.

On topic: Well, I enjoy Civilization II, and... hm, the Kirby series? That's what I can think of right now, at least.

Finally. Someone else who loves that game.

I don't understand why people hated it.

And yes, if Lords of Shadow is in anyway like Lament of Innocence (and by judging from the previews, it looks like a more better looking version of it) it may be the best game this year.

That is, if it gets released this year.

Sly Cooper series, some of the most fun games I've EVER played, very few seem to have seen it or even heard of it...it's a shame, it's the game I think about and moves up my list of top games every day, the only other game that can match it's rise in my ranks in Fallout 3...

Well, my default answer for this is Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, but its popularity seems to have increased a bit since I played it, to the point where people no longer go "whuh?" whenever I bring it up. And it probably just get more popular, what with the giant epic blockbuster coming out...

Mirror's Edge

I can see its faults and I can understand why a lot of people hate it. But it gives me an incredible sense of speed and maneuverability that makes me feel free and makes my heart pound after each speedrun or timetrial. As a result I love the game. It probably helps that I am pretty good at it and get enjoyment out of finding the little nuances in the levels to shave a few seconds of my end-time and all that jazz.

Some of my favorites are rather dated, to say the least. I loved playing 4 player Battlezone and Bomberman on the N64. Also, Shattered Steel was pretty awesome. Too bad Bioware hasn't decided to pick the series back up; we could use a new, good mech game.

I'm not sure of its popularity, but I love the Hitman series. Great music and level design, and 47 is an awesome character. I also love Mirrors Edge because it's brings something new to the table.

Yeah! Sly Cooper ruled!

Once again, I'm going to say Okami. The most well-rounded and genuinely entertaining game I've ever played. Great story, great music, great gameplay and even more great music, what's more to like?

Gothic 2
this is my favorite RPG of all time. It had somewhat broken combat, but it was chalanging while being verry rewarding. On top of that it delivered a simple story well told, better than most RPG stories anyway.
It's a shame though that I can't get my hands on the first one(no retail in this godforsaken place).

Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles. Didn't really make it but I think that they're great.
