World-wide ... The Witcher, I manged to play it through and through :). Locally, absolutely every game that isn't either sport(PES, Fifa, Olympics...) or Counter Strike, my friends only play those, they never played a RPG or a RTS. (I installed Fallout 3 on my friend's PC to show it to him, once there wasn't any action for WHOLE 45 secs he went into some kind of anaphylactic shock and started screaming :O)

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. Nobody I know had any interest at all until Soul Reaver was realeased. Shame really, IMO the first game is excellent. Still, I wish they hadn't stopped making them, as Defiance ended brilliantly, pulling the story of the whole series together and setting up an epic finale that we will never get to see.

Oooh, just thought of another one, possibly one of my favourite games of all time:

Ultima 8.

No, I'm serious. Having no experience of the rest of the series, I absolutely loved part VIII, although obviously I would've liked it to last a bit longer.

Tropico 3.
Add the old Tropico 1.

These are very good, original games, yet nobody played them.

Forget psychonauts, grim fandango or portal, there's no unique experience like Tropico.

24: The Game. Despite the generally bad reviews I thought it was pretty good. If only you could choose to silence your pistol...

Only one of my friends ever played Project: Snowblind for the X-box. My friend that knew about it lent it to me because he didn't like it because he couldn't beat it, but i beat it and loved it.

Tropico is one of my all time favourite games.

Though I never could do the oppressive dictator very well. Yay democracy!
And yet, killing off my political rivals never worked either. :'(

The trickiest part in going dictatorship was handling the risk of military coups.
Liberty would typically be low, so even soldiers would become unhappy.

Firing the unhappy soldiers and setting up a large police force + prison was the best way to handle this. The cops cannot perform a coup, but they can "arrest", turncoat soldiers.

Huh. I didn't know that. I just tried paying the military more and more money, but eventually the Rebels just overpowered them.

Beyond Good and Evil
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Valkyria Chronicles.

My three picks.
Valkyria Chronicles is awesome except for the 1 mission where you have to scout past the watch towers.

OT: Dragon Quest VII:Journey of the Cursed King. I'm the only white guy I know of on the planet to ever play this game.

It's one of those things you had to discover for yourself without the manual. This was only case where you get to see the policemen pull their guns in Tropico.

Mine include -
Rocket knight adventures - Megadrive-Genesis
Okami - ps2-Wii
and Body Harvest - N64
But hang on, I've played all of those.

I'd add Cobra Triangle (NES) and Panzer Dragoon Saga (Saturn) to the list.

And here's a game I can almost guarantee no one here has ever played, or likely even heard of -

Moonbase Alpha (SC-3000)

I don't even have a copy myself anymore :(
well obviously someone somewhere has played them, just hardly any of my friends or people iv met have

I played that one. It was... not very pleasant in my opinion.

But I did almost squeal for joy when I saw my first slime in it!

Jet Force Gemini!
this was a great game! the new ratchet and clank reminds me of it in ways, such as travelling to different planets with oversized guns and humorous enemies, also the zoni are like collecting all the tribals
