I never finished a game of Civ V because I utterly despise it. I loved the earlier Civ games though.

Alone in the Dark. Just got bored because I realized I could instant-kill everything with the lighter/disinfecting spray combo. Stopped playing after the Helicopter crash.

Ratchet and Clank Size matters. I got it on PS2. It is one of those games made for PSP then remade for PS2. It should have stayed on PSP only.

Need for Speed Carbon. I steamrolled everything in my path. Then I got to the Final Boss. The difficulty curve took an unnecessary spike then.

A few more but I can't remember. Probably because I found the games horrible.

Oblivion, though I may someday finish it. It might be because I, stupidly, went through the first gate in the beginning, without levelling up... Now, I just spend my time raiding people for food to level up. Doing nothing that relates to the plot.

Lessee:

FFXIII and Infinite Undiscovery for the same reason I just lost interest, once I finish Dragon Age 2 I MIGHT go back and finish FFXIII since I am close to the end, I wouldn't hold my breath tho.

KOTOR (I only started playing it cause my roomate kept nagging me about it so I'm not sure if that counts). I should like it cause I love Bioware and I like Star Wars, but I guess I don't like Star Wars games (except X-Wing Vs Tie Fighter woo!)

One of the Panzer Dragoon games that wasn't anything like Panzer Dragoon Saga =(

I think that's it. I never completed the WC3 campaign but I don't think that counts either cause I just bought it to play TD's and DotA and games like that.

Morrowind & Final Fantasy IX.

Why? Because they're fucking cursed!

Morrowind by itself is like a kiss of death upon a computer, as since I bought it the week it was released, installation of which has resulted in dying hard drives, burnt out motherboards, more than a few other system/component failures (including a power supply that spewed out a hefty chunk of black smoke one random day.) This is over the course of the original copy, a GOTY edition my friend handed to me, and I'm even going to blame it for frying my old Xbox as well.

As you can imagine, after a while I really got wary of installing it, but when I shrug and do it's BAM! New computer time.

Final Fantasy IX, it... she is more evil in regards to my life. I can happily say that since I bought it, also first week, the only reason I had to buy another Playstation was because an old roommate decided to skip off with mine. I've enjoyed it thoroughly, never seen a hint of a glitch or hiccup, and get nicely involved in the story.

And then I get the message to Insert Disc 4.

That disc has never ceased to throw my life into upheaval whenever I start playing it. An employer once closed down. More than one living arrangement quickly fell to pieces. Freakin' Hell, I even had a flood in my appartment once the day I got to that disc. Unplanned shit happens, everything gets thrown into disarray and I have to put everything else aside until it gets settled. So, by the time that I can once again spare the time for gaming (well over a month later usually) I turn on FFIX and forget what the hell I was doing. I can't remember the plot point I'm at, I can't remember the characters skills or how I had them built (at a point where combat is more challenging which really makes it a problem), and I just don't remember what had happened up until then.

So I decide to take a break from it, play a different game in the meantime, and eventually start a new playthrough of FFIX. Rince. Repeat. Scream in Rage.

I never finished Morrowind because I broke the game with cheats, and just moved on to Oblivion which was obviously super hyped up. I never finished Oblivion because I spent too much time farming those orbs from the Oblivion levels and got tired of it. I did do the knights of the nine and insanity quests, along with a great deal of side quests though. I never finished NwN2 because the damn thing crashed at the beginning of the final battle. Now it crashes at some random point in every game I play. When it finds a place to crash, it will keep crashing there.

Too Human because it sucked balls.

Blue Dragon, just randomly stopped playing it some point through the 3rd disc.

The Last Remnant, it bored the fuck out of me.

Final Fantasy X-2, it was fucking awful.

Overlord 2, I just couldn't get into it no matter how hard I tried. Loved the first one.

Far Cry 2, I really wanted to get into it, but I got fed up of guard post's trying to tear you a new one every 0.00001 seconds. Also the fact that you couldn't hide somewhere with a sniper and pick off guards because as soon as you fired 1 bullet every enemy in the area knew automatically where you were. Also lots of the missions took you to the other side of the map and I couldn't be bothered driving all the way there for the above reasons.

Wizardry 8. Had it what...a decade almost? A combination of Ascention Peak, HDD loss and saving over old saves stopped me ever completing it. It must be cursed. Or i am.

FF13. Took too long to get interesting, and even then, by the time you look back and see all you missed, feels like you might as well start over. fuck that noise.

FFX-2. Obvious reasons. played first 30 minutes, heard Rikku's "youth wins again!" line.... turned it off, never looked back.

Most of my recent games I have yet to finish. I don't know why, I guess I get bored or frustrated so play a different game and don't come back. More often than not, It's probably because I get a new game.

I still have loads I haven't even played yet, like Mirrors Edge, Prince of Persia, Prey and Viva Pinata 2 to name a few old ones.

DeadRising 2, because Katey and her damn immune system prevented me from going around dressed as a woman on my tricycle, so I got bored.

I guess Marvel vs. Capcom 2 as well, even though you can't really "beat" it. But yeah, I couldn't even beat Arcade mode. I only bought it because it was half price, played for about an hour, then went back to other stuff.
Still intend to get back into it. Someday.

Final Fantasy III (DS).

The last section in the game is relentless. You need to get through the Crystal Tower, the last few areas of which contain the particuarly nasty Dragons as random encounters, and defeat Xande. Then you have to go into the Dark World and kill 4 more bosses before you can take on the true final boss, the Cloud of Darkness.

ALL WITHOUT SAVING AND WITH VERY LIMITED MANA AND MANA REPLENISHING ITEMS.

Because once you defeat Xande in the tower, you are locked in the Dark World. You cannot save in the Dark World so if you suffer a party wipe, it's back outside the Crystal Tower. And you'll probably not touch the game for a month because your so pissed off at it.

The only way to finish this game seems to be to sit in the first room of the Crystal Tower and grind til the cows come home. Really can't be bothered with that. Look up ending on Youtube and I was done with it.
I managed to beat it but jesus, I'm glad someone agrees. I personally could never get through Uncharted. I've definitely seen worse, but it was just so pitifully unimaginative and uninspired, especially in contrast with the developers' last series, Jak. Maybe the third upcoming game will have some substance.

Almost any DS game made by 5th cell. They always manage to screw-up and make their levels too hard, and i mean so hard that you just rage quitafter setting a new high-score of surving of surving 30 seconds

There are only two games that I have never been able to finish IF I had ever begun to play them...

No. 1 being Sonic 2 on the Sega Megadrive..... only because our console died and I haven't been able to find a replacement.... -.-"

and no. 2 Amnesia: The Dark Decent.... This is because that game is SCARY!!! I'm even looking for excuses to continue not playing it.....
