GTA4.
I got bored and stopped, saying I'll come back to it.
My PS3 YLODed and I started GTA4 anew and quit around the same place, cause again, I got bored.
And that's coming from a guy who did all of FFXIII without breaks.

Fallout 3 which was mentioned. Same reasons.

Disgaea 3. Also, dropped it like after 2 days. Came back later and again, dropped after a day.

Titan Quest: Immortal Throne - I was playing that with my bro then I went to uni and didn't find the game enjoyable in single player

GTA4 - just didnt like it, barely got past the 1st driving mission

Mirror's Edge - dont know why really. ill finish it at some point

Most likely a bunch of other games here and there. Generally if I like a game I will finsih it eventually, it's just that I like to switch a lot. I doubt I'll ever bother to finish Crackdown 2 though, wasn't that great IMO. Looks like it might be better co-op though

I never finished GTA4 because I got bored of it.

I also never finished some XBLA game that you roll a ball around, because it was shit.

Finaly Fantasy 7: my bro and I raced through it on separate save files to see who could beat it first. He won, by quite a way.
FF8: Got bored halfway through, haven't played a FF game since.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl: - Got ridiculously wtf owned in the first mission countless time - it's just such a hard game for me to master (and I suck at FPS to begin with). Got sick of it and left it. Might give it another bash over summer.
Empire Earth + Expansion: God awful games, campaigns were FAR too difficult after the first missions, poorly executed tech trees, and the god awful voice acting. Plus, the way the AI would 'conveniently' advance to the same age as you, if you overtook them, in skirmishes. Sack that.
Dead Space: Borrowed it off a friend, really wanted to finish it but had to give it back (PS3 version). Will definitely finish it one day!

probably 20+, so lets keep it short sweet and generic

usual reason: lack of time
occasional reasons: lack of talent/got bored with losing (usually same thing) or borrowed game
Gran Turismo reason: you want me to do WHAT to get over 50% completion?

star control II

why? because that game is impossible to beat without sticking your head in a walkthrough every 5 seconds...

a fun game though...

I rarely finish games, it's my cross to bear. I buy so many but I'll only finish one out five if I'm lucky.
Some of the games I've yet to finish include:
Fallout 3
Resident Evil 5
Doom 3
etc.

Morrowind, ive logged a thousand plus hours in that game and every time i say to myself "okay im just going to finish the main quest and get done with it this time" it ends up being "OOOOH SHINY I NEED THAT" and then 7 days later i find myself with a full daedric armor set in the middle of no where with a fork trying to kill a bullnetch

Also Team Fortress 2, I can't beat the last boss.
I had the same problem man. I swear Valve made that game unbeatable on purpose!
I know right? Saxon Hale was just too damn hard to beat .....
How did you guys get past Octo-heavy first?

OT: Haven't finished Fallout 3, I never liked it for some strange reason.

Super Meat Boy: Take a guess
Whoa, whoa whoa. You're calling Super Meat Boy hard? I beat the bloody thing in a week and it's taken me a grand total of three fucking years of on-and-off playing to not finish Jumper 2. And you know what the best thing is? Jumper 2 isn't a rip-off of Jumper 2.
...so?

One game is hard, the other one is harder. Just because there are harder games out doesn't make SMB easier than it is (wich it isn't)

Challenge and stuff is nice and all, but i stop playing games if they start to frustrate me. It's all about fun, or being entertained at least.

Also, Jumper 2 IS SO TOTALLY a rip-off of Jumper 2.

DA:O - I just couldn't be bothered to finish the game because of the repetitive grind of combat. Shame because it was otherwise quite good.

GTA4 - Because I really didn't like the game. Played for a couple days and sold it to a friend.

Metroid Prime 2 - I'm not skilled enough to beat this game despite multiple revisits. Sadly, I've never even made it to the last boss whose supposedly the most difficult part the game.

Monster Hunter Tri - The game was okay, but too much of a grind to play to the end.

Super Mario Galaxy - A fine game to pick up and play...but I've gradually lost interest in the platforming genre and simply put the game down. I may go back to it is it is not a game I plan to sell.

Bioshock, after my suspicions were confirmed re: Atlas I lost the will to play on. Combat was just a grind.

Assassins Creed, I uninstalled it after the tutorial when I realised there was a whole lot more of that crap to come. Yick.

Saints Row 2, well no-one would blame me for trying to forget that experience.

Oblivion, I should try it with some mods but I really can't be bothered. Despite loving System Shock 2, VtM:B and Fallout 3/ New Vegas, I can't get into FPRPGs in a fantasy setting.

Far Cry 2, a corrupted save file sapped my will to continue.

Dead Space, a not fantastic port of an decidedly average game. Bleh.

Fallout 3: I dont have too much time for games right now, so I try to play shorter or more linear ones. Whenever I pick this up I spend hours just exploring the wasteland. Maybe when I have enough time

FFIV DS: DS is broken

KH: Birth By Sleep: PSP is broken. Kinda boring anyway. Not sold on the 3 different character thing.

Folklore: Bought this recently, but dont feel like playing it too much. Its very eh.

Never finished the first Dead Space, hell, I never even got past chapter three.
It just ground on and on.

For the record, I finished Dead Space 2 in about 2 days since it was just that much more engaging.
