I've had a few. The only ones that come to mind of not finishing is the Turok game for the 360 and that god awful History Channel Civil War game.

Started doing the career... then I played the quickplay and realized all songs were unlocked already.

So I just play the quickplay now more then anything.

Bad Boys II the PS2 game, terrible gunplay.
And the getaway (I think), the london gangster GTA wannabe that unskippable did over. God it was terrible. Gunplay was shocking, driving was painful and the whole game felt like it was being played in treacle.

FF8.

Unlike most people, I actually LIKED that game. It was one of my favorites. But for some reason, every time I got close to the end of the game, I just put it down and just didn't pick it back up. Then, much later, I would start over and it would happen again. LOL I have no idea why.

Oh and I never did beat Super Mario 2.

Dragon Quest VIII. I had been testing the waters for quite a while to see if I liked JRPG's or not, so I started with Kingdom Hearts, loved it, worked my way up to some key Final Fantasy games, enjoyed them, worked my way up to Dragon Quest VIII and that's where I hit the wall.

And also Shadow of the Colossus, which I sort of half regret. It was a fun game but it lost me.

Sheep Dog N' Wolf,AKA Looney Tunes Sheep Raider. God,that boss fight is fucking impossible!
I assume you mean Gosamer?? If so I feel your pain.
I don't know his name. I mean big red monster who originally appeared in Bugs Bunny short.
Yeah, Gossamer. That boss fight was a pain in the arse. I eventually figured out you have to sprint around him anti-clockwise until he gets dizzy, then you have to jump on the nearest of those giant wheels and keep jumping onto the next platform until you rotate the thing the whole way, which causes light to shine on the area around him, causing him to move up the map. You do this 3 times and eventually he creates a bridge for you to carry the sheep over.

It's incredibly long-winded, obtuse, fiddly and annoying.
Oh,fuck. Would never thought of that myself.

The biggest problem is that if you carry a sheep and he pummels you,you get stuck and have to start ENTIRE FUCKING LEVEL all over again!
Yeah, it was a complete twat of a level. TBH I never figured it out myself either, I think I saw a walkthrough or someone else told me or something. Stupid level.

Just remembered some others I never finished.

LittleBigPlanet; So so so so boring. And I completely lost interest in the level editor when I realised, a) I don't have the creativity to think up decent levels on my own, and b) I don't have the time to dedicate most of my life to creating sadi levels.

Assassins Creed; I could explain why this game pissed me off and enraged me beyond all things ever in my life, but you may as well just go watch Yahtzees review of it. He pretty much says everything I want to and so much more elequently.

Nuclear Strike/Desert Strike; If anyone remembers the Strike series, I shouldn't really need to explain this one. These games were hard. Like diamonds. Like rock solid diamonds forged in goddamn Mordor or some fuck like that! I finished 2 levels of Nuclear and zero levels of any of the others. Hard games were hard.

Tomb Raider; I can technically put any of the TR games in here, because even though I finished most of them, I cheated my way through most of them as well. Except for 4. I never finished 4.

FF7/8; Just as I did with 12, I got extremely bored with 7 and 8 as well. It's a wonder I ever got into Final Fantasy, seeing as 3 of the main series games bored me to sleep. I never got past the first disc on these 2.

Wow, I actually havent finished as many games as I thought.

I hate to say it, but Psychonauts. The goddamn meat circus level hands me my ass.
That level was beyond frustrating. But after getting that far I couldn't NOT see the end. The boss fight in the milkman level was a ***** too. Great game though

Golden Sun 1 & 2 I finished them. I still play them. They are god.
Also about... yes EVERY zelda game. It's not that I can't finish' em it's just that it takes such a long time and every single time my sister/brother or karma deletes file, makes me lose game/memory card or the card goes curropt. And I ended up going back to where I was but not further... I still kick ass at them. Only one I finished was Ocarina of Time but my bro is waaaay better. He did it with only 3 hearts. No bonuses.

Ah geez.
FF-8 (Stopped playing for a bit, and then had no bloody idea where to go, stopped caring)
Red Dead Redemption (It's a fun game, but I can't sit and play it for more than like..30 minutes)
Just Cause 2 (Dunno if I've even started the story yet, but I own most of the island)
Dead Space 2 (Don't know if it counts, I don't own it, just played the parts my room mate was too afraid to do. Also found it boring as hell
Prototype (I found the game just got worse and worse the farther I progressed. Loved it at first for the blood and sinew, but it got repetitive and dull)
Fallout: New Vegas (After my metal rod was hitting more than a .44 magnum despite my Guns skill being over 5x as high, and the friggin Vault level which is a ***** to navigate)

I think that's it...everything recently anyways. Maybe I just suck at games, or have no patience whatsoever.

GTA IV: Bad controls overall, lack of color and variety. It just wasn't fun.
Assassins Creed: Repetitive and boring, everything was too clean.
Halo 3: Ugly game, stupid story and the weapons didn't feel good.
Resonance of Fate: Boring and annoying characters, combat didn't evolve.
