I refuse to play anything lego/movie themed. Give the kids some real lego!! Nostalgia filled Lego memories FTW!
DRM,A-holes and bad business structure. Maybe he got other reasons for his boycott but this is why I don't buy games developed by them(some game published by them I do on occasion buy so not a total boycott).MercurySteam said:That's like half of the industry gone. What the hell could've screwed up your opinion of those three major publishers so much? And who in their right mind stops buying such a large chunk of games from our industry because of the publishers?JCBFGD said:I have boycotted... UbiSoft games, EA games, and Activision games.
You can't be serious.Fanfic_warper said:CAll of Duty, Dead Space, Ico games and Psychonauts for their crap stories.
Similar here. I've tried many JRPGs including FF 13, but they are just as Yahtzee says, "All about androgynous teenagers killing Satan." At least all the one I've tried.bobert17 said:i refused to play JRPGs. I've NEVER found one that i enjoyed. I bet ill get hate for this, but I've never even touched a Final Fantasy game.
Yay for presenting your opinion as a fact and coming across like a bit of an ass!cnaltman62 said:Halo. Tried the first one and HATED it. I can honestly say that it is the worst FPS ever made.
Interesting that you saw Halo Wars as an average first person shooter.xMP44x said:I would say Halo. I've tried Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars, and the Halo Reach beta. None of them appealed to me. I can't find the appeal of the series. It strikes me as a very average first person shooter.
I've cut myself off from RTSs too. In my case, I just can't micromanage in the middle of a battle. Maybe if I found a game with fewer units that were easier to target with my mouse...Shadow flame master said:Any RTS game.
I only have a laptop so I can't really play too much on it without having the screen freeze up in mid play. Also, even though End War had a good layout, I feel as though RTS's don't work well in the console environment.
Alright, you caught me there. I had written up my post, and then realised I'd forgotten Halo Wars. I did enjoy it to an extent but I was definitely not blown away by the game.Thyunda said:Interesting that you saw Halo Wars as an average first person shooter.
It was pretty average for an RTS. However, in its favour, it was accessible and the units did feel like Halo units, as opposed to Red Alert with Halo skins.xMP44x said:Alright, you caught me there. Yeah, I can agree there. I never owned it, and only played it on a friend's console. It was very, very accessible. Even a complete newcomer to real time strategy could get into it, hence why I was able to play it. It definitely had the same Halo character but I just couldn't find anything to love about it.Thyunda said:It was pretty average for an RTS.
